The nature of a human being establishes a non-negotiable baseline of human value and worth. From that point we can start to mapping the field of behavior based worthiness.

Morality is not merely a judgment about the feeling of good or bad. It is a pattern of conduct that places a person into right or wrong relation with others, with duty, and with the broader cosmological order.

The English moral comes from Latin moralis, built from mos/mores; disposition, customs, manners, ways of conduct. Historically, the word is already tied to how one behaves, especially within social life, not merely to how we personally feel about good and bad. by @zenith__118
