Stepping onto the @officialhhi World stage for the first time and opening with my fam is something I’ll never forget. A dream that once felt so far away became reality.

A special thank you to @brittflask for giving me a home at @dnaperformingarts and believing in me from the start. And to my mentor, now brother, @benuili . Thank you for investing in me over the last three years, preparing me for moments like this, and building a dream in me that I never knew was possible.

Forever grateful. This is only the beginning. ❤️🌍 by @zenithscanlan

Three years ago I made a promise to myself that one day I’d dance on the HHI World stage.

Last week, that dream became reality.

I’m grateful for every early morning, every late night, every challenge, and every person who helped me get here. Standing on that stage reminded me that the journey is always worth it.

Sharing this experience with people I consider family made it even more special. I made lifelong memories, met amazing people from around the world, and even got to learn from one of the choreographers who inspired me to dance in the first place.

Being away from my fiancée and daughter is never easy, but they’re the reason I keep chasing these dreams.

Forever grateful. The dream doesn’t end here. It just got bigger. ❤️🌎 by @zenithscanlan

I used to dance alone on that stage.

Now I stand in first with people I call family.

Same number. Different meaning.

M-City is more than a team. It’s new beginnings, new experiences, and the growth that comes from embracing a new challenge together.

If you’re persistent, you’ll get it. If you’re consistent, you’ll keep it. If you’re grateful, you’ll get more of it.

We chase our dreams so she grows up believing in hers.

Chasing ours. Building hers. ❤️

The dream started over 10 years ago. I just didn’t chase it until three years ago.

I let other people’s opinions convince me it wasn’t for me, until I surrounded myself with people who saw something in me that I couldn’t see yet, especially my fiancée @louisannharper who encouraged me to step back into the studio.

This week I lived two dreams: performing on the HHI World stage and learning from one of the people who inspired me to dance in the first place.

The dream is bigger than me now.

I hope one day my little girl looks at me and thinks, “If Dad can do it, so can I.”

A core memory from last year.

You can’t hear what was said, but I remember what it felt like.

There’s something about dancing under pressure with a team. It creates a bond that is hard to explain, but impossible to forget.

Different crews. Different stages. Same feeling.

This month, I step into it again at Worlds.

Worlds season starts soon.

Before the next chapter, I wanted to see how far I’ve come.

A couple years ago I restarted my dance journey around the same time I became a dad. Now my team has just won Gold at Nationals and we are heading to Arizona to represent Australia at the HHI World Championships 🇦🇺

More than anything, I’m just grateful for the people, the journey, and for my daughter getting to watch her dad chase something he loves.

I’ve started a GoFundMe to help with travel costs for Worlds. Even just sharing it means a lot.

Thank you, link is also in my Bio ❤️

An @hhiaustralia gold medal was once just a dream in my head.

Now it’s a reminder of how much can change when you keep showing up.

More than anything, I’m grateful for every person who’s been part of the journey so far 🫶Teammates, coaches, family, friends, and everyone who believed in me before I fully believed in myself.
