𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴: 𝘚𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦.

Exploring the material as a dynamic field of transformation across geology, industry and architecture. This drawing investigates the shift from sedimentary formation over millions of years, to rapid industrial extraction and carbon impact, and finally to architectural application and decay. Rather than a closed loop, sandstone exists and evolves in continuous displacement undergoing fragmentation, erosion and recontextualization across multiple temporal and spatial scales.

Studio: It yields and will not last.

𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵-𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘵

What happens when nature and future come together in one ecosystem?

This was my runner up entry for a freelance rendering contest, trying to answer my own question.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘰𝘳?
A Meteor is a celestial object that appears as a streak of light as it enters Earth’s atmosphere.

𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘺𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘔𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘰𝘳?
With it’s speed, aesthetics and character.

So, my design for the Meteor Custom Cruiser is based on these 3 fundamentals. I have tried to capture the astronomical properties of a Meteor and the vision for an extraterrestrial motorcycle in the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

The fairing sweeps down, integrating the tank, headlight and other body panels together. The chassis is amalgamated with a trellis frame and a custom fork. Staying true to it’s old school roots, it also carries the charm of a war era motorcycle.

From Brass to Carbon fibre, this is my dream for a retro-moderno cruiser from the future!
