<3 Lately I’ve been seeing so many teens getting ready for high school and college, and it’s reminded me how much I truly love doing teen facials.

I remember being that age and feeling so lost with my own skin. Going to the doctor and leaving with a prescription, but still not really feeling like I understood my skin or that anyone had taken the time to listen to me.

I remember getting my first facial and wanting so badly to keep going because I finally felt like I was getting the guidance I had been looking for — but I couldn’t afford to.

I think about that version of me a lot when a younger client is in my studio.

It’s one of the reasons I intentionally keep my teen facials at a lower price. I want skincare education and support to feel a little more accessible to the younger generation.

But more than treating their skin, I want ZENSKNN to be a safe place for them to slow down, feel listened to, ask questions, learn about their skin, and experience what it feels like to calm their nervous system too.

They’re stepping into such important years of becoming who they are.

And maybe I get to give them a little bit of what I wish I had at that age. 🤍 by @zensknn

She came in a little sun-kissed + sensitized from the sun, so today was all about calm, hydration & repair.

We dermaplaned, followed with a soothing eucalyptus enzyme, then flooded the skin with hydration + oxygen cream and all the good stuff.

No aggressive treatments. No overdoing it. Just listening to what her skin needed today.

The result: calm, juicy, glowing skin. & just gorgeousness <3 by @zensknn
