but seriously, the idea of my husband and my children being in competition has never resonated with me. we’re a unit. we’re a family.

and yes, at this stage of life, my children have more access to me than my husband does, because they rely on me to survive + thrive. that doesn’t make our marriage less important; it’s simply the season we’re in. 🫶🏼
