My current textile project—just a little preview of what’s to come for my next show! I’m already thinking about how my textile work and ceramic sculptures will connect. I want the entire collection to feel cohesive, so I’ll be carrying the checker pattern into my ceramic pieces, with hints of pink and light blue throughout. I’m excited to see how these different mediums come together as one body of work. #textiles #artist #love #dresses #artwork by @zeo_carbon

People often ask why I use black-and-white prints and such a limited color palette in my artwork. For me, the contrast represents the conflict within me: the darkness shaped by the pain and hurt I’ve experienced, and the lighter side that still wants to help, care for, and believe in others. Part of me is drawn toward the darkness because of everything I’ve been through, while another part continues to hold on to compassion and hope. The tension between these two sides is what this piece explores. This is how you were all supposed to experience this piece at my show. Unfortunately, I was sharing the gallery with my school brothers, so I wasn’t able to display it exactly as I had envisioned. I still loved having the opportunity to show alongside them, but I wanted you all to see my original vision for the piece. #artist #art #ceramics #artwork #sanfransisco by @zeo_carbon

I have no problem with AI—it’s about how it’s used. I would never use AI to create my artwork for me. Using it as a tool to help put together a simple flyer featuring my own work and images is completely different.

Could I pay a graphic designer? Sure. Unfortunately, I’m not rich, and I’m working with the resources available to me.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but if your only intention is to be rude or disrespectful, keep it to yourself. Criticism is one thing; trying to tear down another artist is another. #artist #art ceramics #textiles #painting by @zeo_carbon
