The Rainbow Butterfly is at Bourne Free Pride Family Day this coming week (on the 5th July 2024) We are excited to bring you our immersive family dance adventure that shimmers and sparkles to the moon and back 🌕 🚀 🌟 We are delighted to be collaborating with @pdsw_org to bring The Rainbow Butterfly to life in Meyrick Park. This interactive experience blends traditional storytelling with aerial circus, graceful contortion and dynamic contemporary & Hip Hop dance. It follows the explorative and transformative journey of Maja, a child who would love to be a butterfly through the Earth and Outer Space, and gently introduces what it means to be non-binary. First performance at 4.30pm. Second performance time to be confirmed soon. Suitable for ages 3+ “It was so joyful for my children to see themselves reflected in the performers and the show is so much fun: a beautiful bonding and reaffirming experience for multiple heritage children” Corinne Bailey Rae Performed by artists from the global majority, this show celebrates how unique we all are using creativity, carnival, aerial circus, beatbox, & Hip Hop dance to help Maja fly all the way to the moon: because the Earth without Art is just Eh!
