filmed this over the weekend with the boys.
this one’s about three childhood friends who reunite, but each took a different path and are slightly jealous of each other.

been deep in writing this one for a while, so getting it off the ground felt really good and this meant a lot to me.

most importantly right now, is just improving my craft, directing better, building the team, and trying to grow with each project. excited for this to come to life later!

I wrote, directed, and produced my own short film this month. It’s something I’ve been working toward for a long time.

Filmmaking takes so much work from pre production to post that many don’t see the value. But to me, telling a story where you have something to say and putting it out there for people to see and judge is the most important thing for me.

This story follows a farmer who’s approached by a stranger, two lives crossing paths and finding connection in an unexpected place.

These photos and videos capture a bit of that journey behind the scenes. Long days, a small crew, and everyone really going out of their way to help me bring this to life.

I’m deeply grateful for everyone who believed in this story and helped me along the way because I believe all great things come in good time 🕊️

Notes from Summer 2024 ✍🏽This summer one of my goals was to start staying organized. i’ve realized i’ve lost a lot of time and memories when im not on top of tracking things that matter me. So, i wanted to make a short reel on ways i was keeping things in order by writing more things down, from things i’ve read or experienced. Really had lots of fun putting this together. tried using more technical techniques like Automation, playing with EQ’s, reverbs, and routing audios to buses. Hope to make more in the future and with others, as my work and skills expand 🥂

And that’s a wrap 🎬 over the past month had the opportunity to be the director of photography for @anxiousbrowngirlseries it was 3 weeks of intense shooting and prep and many hard hours on set, to me the most fulfilling projects are those that tell a great story and was happy to be apart of something new and push myself for a 3 weeks shoot! here’s some of my fav memories from set. huge shoutout to @canigetsharps for working so close with me and always putting that extra effort into every project, couldn’t have done it without you!
