Memories from the first Zero Carbon Records Electric Tour, two weeks ago in France, organised by Aerolille during the Sustain Festival.

Many thanks to Gaia Stage, @neimenster , Avant-Post, Solweig Barbier and, of course, @aerolille and the Sustain Festival. This is clearly a new chapter for us and there should be more to come in 2027.

Leaving Lille, the Sustain Festival and this bike with a seat that’s too low, to reach Berlin; then on my bike (with a seat that's too high) to go straight to @mutantradiotbilisi today at 17:00 to play my favourite tracks of the moment (probably a dancey-ish set).

Many thanks to @aerolille, @zerocarbonrecords, @sylvainchauveau.music, @benjcollier, avant post for this three days and special thanks to Marcus!

17h, today, @mutantradiotbilisi

A ZERO CARBON PERFORMANCE
To deliver the chunkiest beats while following the @zerocarbonrecords protocol, the musician generates his own electricity by pedaling a bike.
He also uses the bicycle to travel between cities on tour.
For any unavoidable carbon emissions (such as using a laptop), he generates a #carbonfiasco which he must explain to the audience before the show.

The video was shot live @neimenster during a @zerocarbonrecords residency (August 2026)

“Shut up and play your guitar.”
Yes, daddy, but only if I can produce my own electricity while playing.

For the first time, Zero Carbon Records is taking its new @gaiastage sound system out into the streets.

@sylvainchauveau.music and I will be doing a mini tour later this month, organised by @aerolille as part of Sustain Festival.

We’re also available for more bike tours in spring/summer 2027 — travelling by bike and producing the electricity for our performances using the very same bike.
