🌶️ Sichuan Mapo Tofu (1 persoon)

Pittig, kruidig en heerlijk met rijst! 🍚

Ingrediënten:
• 200 g mediumzachte tofu
• 50 g rundergehakt
• 2–3 el olie
• 1½–2 el Pixian doubanjiang
• 1 tl fijngehakte douchi (optioneel)
• 1–2 tl chilipoeder
• 1 tl lichte sojasaus
• 1½ tl donkere sojasaus
• 1 el kippenbouillonpoeder
• 1 el fijngehakte knoflook
• 1 el fijngehakte gember
• Snufje suiker
• 80 ml water of bouillon
• Maizena gemengd met een beetje water
• 1 tl gemalen Sichuanpeper
• Lente-ui ter garnering

Bereiding:

The taste of childhood: Grandma’s cooking.
Back in the day, steamed beef coated in spiced-rice mix was a special dish we only had during festivals.
.

Everything made completely from scratch. In China, you can easily buy the pre-made spiced rice mix since making it takes so much time. But I chose to recreate it entirely by myself, guided by my childhood memories. 🥰 Brought to your table, crafted with all our love.
.
Today, you can easily find and savor it across restaurants all over Sichuan.
.
You will taste this dish @restaurantchung on 27th of September.
.
What dish brings back your childhood memories?
