Big shout out to @westcoastdrumshop for sponsoring the Keith Carlock @keithcarlock clinic last evening in Bellevue as it was incredibly inspiring and love how he took the time to answer questions and break down components to his insane playing! One of my favorite drummers out there right now. Also, those @gretschdrums sounded incredible. Dude sitting to the left on the photo had the largest head of any human on the planet. 😂 Drum on people and VAMOS!! 🕺🏽🥁 by @zia.drums

Amazing past 3 weekends of Jaws gigs to wrap up the summer! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support, especially at the Oak Harbor and Hops & Crops Music Festivals! Also, thanks to our close friends @amyjoshow Matt & Amy for having us play up at Crystal Mountain for their amazing nuptials (our 1st wedding gig)! Now, we get to prep for Jaws 4 recording sessions in early 2027 with upcoming gigs in Nov/Dec.VAMOS!!

Happy Anniversary to the loves of my life today!! The powers that be placed the most loving, caring, generous, and patient two human beings on the planet into my lap 29 years ago and we’ve been married for 23 of those years. It’s been the greatest honor of my lifetime and here’s to many more years to come. ❤️🍾 by @zia.drums

Easily one of the best drummers on the planet right now, Mr. @keithcarlockofficial absolutely slayed last evening with @totothemselves in Auburn!! This guy’s playing is just amazing on so many levels and is so inspiring. @stevelukatherofficial also put on a clinic throughout the evening. Me & the homie may have been dancing a bit when Christopher Cross busted out Ride Like the Wind! 😂 Thanks @ccohen50 for a killer evening. by @zia.drums

Hang in there Spokane. Gutted to hear from friends about the wildfires devastating the area. Please support both the first responders and displaced folks however you can.

Greetings Friends! I’ve had a number of folks reach out and unfortunately, I won’t be performing with The Jaws of Brooklyn at the upcoming Blessings in Disguise festival in Spokane as I am currently traveling in Argentina visiting family. The amazing Ben Smith (formerly with Heart) will be filling in for me on drums and killing it with the band. If you are in Spokane or planning to attend the festival, PLEASE go and support regardless and enjoy the festival!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing fathers, father figures, and moms pulling double duties out there! Somehow I vaguely remember this day circa 1972-3 in India pictured with my mom who oftentimes pulled double duties and my father. Also, one of my earliest musical memories is my father having me vocalize the percussion part to this song while he sang the main vocal!! 😂 by @zia.drums
