Every year it starts the same way. An argument about who deserved the cover.

EA Sports FC 27 has Mbappé leading it, standing over a city built entirely for the reveal, and a full unveiling landing July 23. The pre-season talk starts now, the pre-orders start earlier than that, and the group chats start the moment this drops.

Get ahead of the argument. Pre-order first.

Under 249 grams. Still cinema footage.

DJI Mini 4 Pro. Omnidirectional obstacle sensing, 4K HDR at 60fps, and a smart controller with the screen built in so you never have to reach for your phone mid-shot. Light enough to skip the registration hassle in most territories. Serious enough that nobody asks if it was shot on a drone this small.

The seat was always earned. Now everyone can see it.

The world is loud. That was never your problem to solve.

Sony WH-1000XM5. Eight microphones reading the room, thirty hours of playback, and noise cancellation that still sets the standard everyone else measures against. Wear them on the commute, in the open-plan office, on the flight. The noise stays outside where it belongs.

Silence is a feature now. Buy it properly.

Thirty years of progress, sitting on top of where it started.

iPad Air with M4. Two sizes, up to 1TB, cellular so the connection follows you out of the building. The chip that runs desktop workloads in something you hold with one hand, and a display that makes everything before it look like a compromise.

The screen keeps getting better. The reasons to wait keep running out.

Not everyone needs Pro in the name to get the point.

iPhone 17. The A-series performance that handles everything most people actually do, the camera system that keeps getting quietly better, and the battery that finally lasts the way it always should have. Physical and eSIM, so the line works wherever you are. White, because some finishes never need a second thought.

The standard was always going to be enough. Now it feels like more.

Ray-Ban Meta. Capture what you see without reaching for a phone, take the call without touching anything, and let the AI handle the rest, all from a frame that looks like the Wayfarer people have trusted for decades. The technology disappears. The style was never going to.

Point of view has a new meaning now.

Stabilised footage used to need a rig, a crew, and a reason.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4. A three-axis gimbal that fits in your palm and produces the kind of smooth motion people used to hire for. Flip screen for framing yourself, low-light performance that holds after the sun drops, and a body small enough that there is no excuse left for shaky footage.

The whole studio, in one hand.

Wherever you’re going, it’s already packed.

@bangolufsen Beosound A1. Aluminium, waterproof, leather strap, 24-hour battery. Sound built by people who have been perfecting it for a century, in colours worth choosing carefully. by @ziggatech

The console that still lets you own the game.

PlayStation 5 Slim, disc edition. The full library, 4K, ray tracing, and load times that erased the wait entirely. Slimmer than the original, quieter under load, and built for the people who take their sessions seriously. The disc drive is not nostalgia. It is ownership.

Some things are worth keeping on the shelf.
