AI is a BIG topic right now, and we’ve got some thoughts 👀

Welcome to our Founders Series! A little behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like starting a business as husband and wife, raising two little ones, and yapping about the topics (we think) are interesting & worth talking about. 😂

At Ziggli, we believe in supporting real writers, illustrators and creatives. And honestly, the idea of uploading your child’s face into an AI system, as some personalised book businesses are starting to do, gives us a bit of the ick 😅

Reading with your little one is such a personal, grounding, old-school kind of experience. We think some things are worth keeping human 🤍

That said, AI can be genuinely useful behind the scenes, from admin and coding to learning and forecasting.

For us, it’s about knowing where it belongs, and where it doesn’t.

But we’re curious… what do you think? by @zigglibooks

You know when you open a gift at Christmas and it just stops you in your tracks for a moment? ❤️

That’s what Jessica Urlichs’ words do so beautifully. They hit a part of you, make you stop for a second and appreciate the people who mean the most.

‘My Hero’ is one of those books. A really special personalised gift for a mum, carer or little human in your life, and one you’ll want to keep coming back to.

Because the best part is getting to read it together, this Christmas and for many years to come ✨

Real people, creating real books for real families 🤍

There’s a LOT that happens before a Ziggli book makes it to your doorstep. 👀

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at one of our very talented illustrators, Anna @sleepy_grrl_draws bringing your little one’s character to life for our upcoming Birthday Book 🥳✏️✨

“Big Adventure is perfect for anxious kids. Mine keeps reading it over and over.” 💛

“The firefly character is adorable. Good quality printing.”

K, reviewing Big Adventure ✨

Is your little one starting daycare, kindy or school next year? 🎒

Big Adventure is a gentle, reassuring story about starting somewhere new, with a little firefly who represents those nervous, wobbly feelings that can come with a big change.

And the best part? You can personalise the story with your little one’s name and appearance, making it a special story they can see themselves in.

A little story for a big adventure. 💛

The weather’s warming up ☀️ which can only mean one thing… stories are heading outside! 📚🌿

Grab a picnic rug, pack some snacks, pick a few favourite Ziggli books and let the little ones settle in for an afternoon of reading, snacking and making memories.

Sunshine + stories + your little one = we’re here for it! 💛

It might seem a little early to be talking about Christmas… but it’s really not that far away!🎄

We know Christmas shopping can creep up quickly, so we thought we’d put together a little guide to some of our favourite Ziggli books to help you find the right one for someone special.

There’s something extra special about giving a book that’s been made just for them. Their name, their family, their story. 🤍

Whether it’s for your little one, Mum, Dad, Grandma or the whole family, we hope this gives you a little inspiration.
Save it for when you’re ready to start your Christmas shopping. 🎁 by @zigglibooks
