Keep going! 🦋

My name - Vanessa: from Greek Origin meaning “Butterfly”
symbolizes metamorphosis, transformation, new life, letting go, expansion, spiritual transformation.

The past few years especially, I’ve been feeling every bit of that!

I’m continually learning to let go and go with the flow and let my life path evolve to be what it is still becoming. I still try to push myself, but life happens, injuries linger, but even through the mental struggle that comes with not being able to do what you used to do, you can still keep trying and be appreciative for the things you CAN still do…even if small compared to before.

There’s a huge spiritual transformation that happens when you have no choice. When the physical is too demanding and you literally reach 0 capacity, it’s finding the strength in your soul to appreciate the beauty still around you that will recharge you… and I am best recharged around my family and in nature.

Thank you God for another day. Life is good. 🤍 by @ziggybraapz

From England, to California, to Tennessee
The Man, The Legend, MY DAD

Thank you for giving us the keys & teaching us that no dream is too big & that the impossible IS possible.

Your creativity + ability to build anything you set your mind to makes me wonder if it’s your first go at this life or if you’ve been here before & came back just for us! From building our childhood home with your own hands to creating beautiful works of art—wood carvings, stained glass, paintings, koi ponds, patios, tile work, etc. to songwriting + producing — your mind is brilliant.

You are the most resilient man I know. Moving to America. Starting. Restarting. Building a home, it burning down, starting over again. No matter what life throws, you find a way forward. Running with you taught me how to keep going even through the pain & feeling COMPLETELY DONE! Always beating the odds!

While you’re the toughest man I know, you’re also the kindest. You help people + animals without ever asking for recognition, simply because that’s who you are. Your generosity is unmatched.

Our childhood felt like a movie—horses, dogs, chickens, goats, dirt bikes, four-wheelers, camping trips, road trips, & endless adventures. You made summer trips to CA extra special by going the long way so we can experience all the wonders of America, & now some of our favorite places + memories exist because you took us there.

We all live in the moment. So I don’t have enough pictures to document all our journeys together, but the one thing I can’t ever forget is our childhood & growing up with the best parents ever.

Thank you for filling our lives with your humor, music, love, & magic. Music is still keeping us together + providing for us during the most unexpected times.

I can’t wait till I can get back on the road with you on our motorcycles. It’s been the greatest joy to ride with you in many places. Thank you for teaching me how to do the most fun & freeing things in the world & instilling these passions of mine into my soul. They will always be connected to you for all of my days.

& MOSTLY thank you for giving me my BFFs - my siblings.

I love you, Papa! Let the good times roll! 🫶 by @ziggybraapz
