Food is music to the body, music is the food to the heart. .diner, c’est un DJ set immersif. Il est né d’une envie : consommer la musique autrement, sortir le DJ de sa case et lui offrir une autre plateforme qu’une soirée classique. Ici, le DJ quitte la scène et partage, le temps d’un dîner, la même table que les invités. L’idée : écouter de la musique pendant qu’on mange. J’ai voulu créer un moment convivial, en mélangeant mes passions : le design, l’architecture, la cuisine et, bien sûr, la musique. Je ne sais pas comment les invités vont vivre l’expérience. Est-ce qu’on mange ? Est-ce qu’on danse ? Les deux en même temps ? Il n’y a aucune idée préconçue. Tout est au feeling, il n’y a pas de bonne façon de le vivre Tout dépend de vous. Cette vision a été rendue possible par la rencontre de plusieurs individualité et par le regard de celles et ceux qui composent ce projet : @zihe______ pour l’expérience @mathilde_gullaud pour la scénographie, @marjanebouazdi pour la cuisine. .diner est la fusion d’univers qui n’étaient pas censés se mélanger. Grâce aux rencontres et aux affinités, c’est devenu possible. In hip-hop, every generation needs someone who passes the torch. I’ve known Arka since our days in 4zeSound crew. Back then we were just kids chasing the culture; training, battling, dreaming with guys like @iceelegionx @kreesama @daniosaguintaah @kero_flowdurnb @luffy_redribbon @tonbeelecter_badness @w.iumc yamina❤️ and myself Years later, seeing the man he’s become… I’m very proud of him. Proud of his journey. Proud of the way he kept evolving in the game and most of all. Proud of the way he’s been giving back to the culture. Through the years he’s coached and inspired dancers like @lindsay_badness @kitokoel360 @4everlongomo @ni.curl and many others now shining worldwide. His new project YOU is about exactly that: legacy, transmission and empowerment through hip-hop. Because hip-hop was never just about moves. It’s about self-love, self-awareness and community. When Arka asked me to help him with his image, I approached it the way I approach any visual direction. I asked myself one question: what role does he play in the culture today? Not a dancer.
