NYC Official Recap.

Iron sharpens iron. Friends turned family. To know me is to know I am surrounded by some of the most amazing people. I’m truly blessed in that way. Looking forward to how life continues to move in our favor. Prayers for protection, abundance and guidance for me and all of mine.

Attended the Leah Daniels-Butler Actors Symposium @ldbactorssymposium last weekend in Houston. Did a very quick turn around just to be in the room.

Being surrounded by so many amazing creatives was so inspiring. We were challenged, we were vulnerable, we were present, and we were open. Putting yourself out there is not an easy thing to do but we all came ready to learn, grow and build.

Leah and Chyna, thank you for the opportunity to share space with you and learn from you. Thank you for your authenticity, the opportunity to build community and to be poured into it by the team and our peers. There aren’t many words to fully articulate my gratitude.

A very special s/o to my village who showed up because yall knew how much this experience meant to me. I sincerely appreciate the genuine excitement, the hospitality, the check in and the recap sessions.

If you’ve read this far, I’ll wrap up with these takeaways:

1. Don’t be afraid to stop and start over in order to fully capitalize on the opportunity and take control of the moment (Thanks Leah😂)
2. There are no limits on what you can do and who you can become
3. Eliminate the timelines
4. Take the risk
5. We can do hard things

P.S. I wish I would have recorded more but I barely slept. Please give me grace

My heart is open. My heart is full. 🌟💫

Performance night at @igottaped. I was so nervous about this performance. I’m even nervous posting this now but hey, we ball.

Turn the volume up and tap in with me on this journey.

Character: Amanda Anderson aka DOUBLE A

What do you think she did?
Do you think she’s remorseful?
How long do you think her sentence is?

Let’s chat!

Birthday Recap!

I had the birthday blues the weeks leading up to my birthday. If you know me you know that’s NOT normal. I LOVE my birthday. This year was a little different. HOWEVER

My people didn’t allow me to sit in that. The calls thoughtful messages, posts etc. They surprised me with a dinner and a cake and put up with my foolery all day.😂

The sacrifices that were made for me doesn’t go unnoticed. My heart is open. My heart is full. Cheers to more life 🥂
