Sometimes the space you fall in love with looks different from the one you first imagined.

This generational bungalow addition began with a design consultation about wants, needs, and what home could become. Painted cabinets and light countertops were part of that first conversation.

Then came a cabinet showroom visit. Our client fell in love with stained cabinetry. Leathered granite brought another unexpected shift, adding depth and texture to the evolving palette.

Our role was to listen, explore, and bring those discoveries together into a cohesive design. The result is a kitchen filled with warmth and character, and possibilities our client hadn’t imagined at the start.

Thinking about an addition or kitchen remodel? Let’s start with a conversation.

My Morning in Norway

The sound of the wind through the trees, children playing in the distance, birds calling, freshly ground coffee, and simple local bread topped with salmon and dill.

A quiet reminder that good design, and good living, is often about noticing the beauty in the everyday.
