basking in the afterglow of an incredible couple of days with some beautiful souls 🌟 nothing more magical than dancing and celebrating life with like-minded people. and a very special experience for me as it was first time selling my bandanas and patches on lot…and they all sold out within 15 minutes! so cool seeing other people appreciate and wear my work. truly feeling so blessed…my cup over-floweth! taken in Bethel Woods Center for the Arts by @zinnteresting

more notable moments from washington & oregon. I’ll make this one short ~ saw aurora borealis, swam at some beautiful swimming holes, saw mt. st helens, went white river rafting, and hung around mckenzie river. BUT highlight of this leg of the trip was definitely bagby springs ~ it’s a 1.5 mile hike into the woods with fairy pools along the way to swim in, and when you get to the springs there are large barrels to soak in, and you draw the baths yourself by using a pipe that runs from the hot springs, or a hose that uses cold river water ~ so you can control the temperature. it was an amazing experience especially in the middle of the jaw-dropping moss-covered forest we were in 🌱🌿🍃 taken in Columbia River Gorge by @zinnteresting

🌊🐟🦀🐳🦑 THE COAST 🦭🪸🐚🐋🦞

the second leg of our trip was spent exploring coastal washington. we drove past kalaloch beach and stopped in at their lodge and mercantile that sits right on the water, with whale watching in the distance. we drove more north and hit the town of forks, washington and slept at the state park nearby - mora campground. the next morning we rolled down the road to rialto beach for what would be the highlight of our trip ~ tidepooling!!!!! I’ve never seen so many starfish and anemones in my life…and such vibrant outstanding colors! eliza and I spent hours walking up and down the beach poking around and finding new specimens. if you looked close enough you could find jasper, agate, and fossilized stone. we also got the chance to see puffins! which is something I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to experience since they’re mainly arctic birds. but seeing them cliff dive with their bright red feet from the tall rocks was incredible!!!! the next night we stayed at kalaloch campground and hit the tree of life and ruby beach as well taken in Kalaloch Beach, Olympic National Park by @zinnteresting

this trip will have to stretch across a few posts because it’s so hard to summarize all of its beauty and magic in one 🌲🏔️✨🪻💫🌋 but what a TRIP! spending fourth of july weekend exploring some of america’s most beautiful natural areas was an amazing way to celebrate the holiday. and navigating life on the road with the love of my life was one of the best parts. we were seriously beaming with gratitude, love and appreciation the entire trip for the earth and each other 🌞 I’m so lucky to have such a playful and curious partner who always keeps me laughing and wanting to explore what’s around the next corner 💓

a quick summary about the first two days of the trip ~ stopped by the tallest waterfall in the country - multnomah falls, went to largest salmon hatchery in the states and fed the fish, stayed at mora campground, spent the day trekking through one of america’s only rainforests - hoh rainforest, hiked to sol duc falls, swam in lake quinalt, and touched so much moss!!!!!!!! 🌱 taken in Olympic National Park by @zinnteresting

wooooooooooah ! 🌞 another amazing rotation around the sun for me and couldn’t imagine spending it surrounded by a better group of friends. to share space and time with these people is to know what love and community feels like 💓 so thankful for a year of travel, art, laughter, exploration, curiosity, music and allllllllll that jazz. looking forward to another year of soaking it all in!!!!!!!! taken in St. Petersburg, FL by @zinnteresting
