Concept Art Project and Portfolio Piece -

Character Design inspired by the Mortal Kombat Series, imagining an original fighter/character.

“Atomik” is visually directly based on myself. He, however, features the fictional power of particle manipulation, manifesting just about anything - weapons, objects, etc. - using his inner surge ability to alter the atomic structure of the air around him at any given time. In the Mortal Kombat Universe, he would be an Earthrealmer, skilled in Martial Arts and Boxing, preferring to use the particle manipulation surge only to improve his hand-to-hand and melee combat, often belittling his very unfathomable power.

As a fan of the game this was a very fun character to create and ideate with. More portfolio pieces to come! by @zintelligencedesign
