What if the most meaningful thing you do this season is simply gather? 🍂

In a season that invites us to slow down, turn inward, and reflect on what truly nourishes us, we’re creating space to do just that. See below for our special 1 day retreat discount!

The Great Harvest is an evening dedicated to the sacred art of gathering. Through a grounding, somatic yoga practice, we’ll slow down, tune into the subtle body, and gently release the tension we’ve been carrying — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Then, we’ll come together around the table to share a thoughtfully prepared harvest dinner by local chef Allison Anastasio, celebrating the flavors and abundance of the season.

Nourishment isn’t just what we eat. It’s how we move, how we connect, and the moments we make to be fully present with one another.

One evening. A shared table. Space to simply be.

We make a plan to practice yoga. Let’s make a plan to vote.

At Zion Well, we talk a lot about showing up, being present, finding our voice, and recognizing how deeply connected we are to one another. We believe community is something we build through the small ways we show up every day.

Voting is one of those ways.

It’s an opportunity to have a voice in the decisions that shape our communities, our schools, our environment, our healthcare, our freedoms, and our collective future. And it’s a reminder that the things we care about require participation, not just conversation.

You don’t have to agree on everything to recognize that every voice deserves to be heard. You don’t have to be politically engaged every day to make time for this one.

So take a moment. Make a plan. Check your registration, learn what’s on your ballot, find your polling place, and encourage someone you love to do the same.

We practice yoga to become more present in the world, not to check out of it.

Make a plan to yoga. Make a plan to vote.

Some people have a way of making you feel a little more at home in yourself. 🌿 We think Morgan is one of those people, and we have a feeling you’re going to love her as much as we do.

Morgan brings a beautiful blend of mindfulness, stillness, somatic movement, breath, and heart-centered connection to her classes. Her approach invites you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that sometimes get lost in the noise of everyday life. With a love for nature, creativity, and the magic of simply being human, she creates space for you to show up exactly as you are.

Yoga isn’t just about the shapes we make with our bodies, it’s about how we feel in them, how we learn to care for ourselves, and how we find little moments of connection along the way.

We’re so happy to welcome Morgan to the Zion Well community, and we can’t wait for you to experience her classes.

Come practice with Morgan starting next week!
Mondays at 9:30 AM - Slow Vinyasa
Thursdays at 8:00 AM - Hatha Yoga

Come as you are. Bring your whole, imperfect, beautifully human self.❤️

Some of our most meaningful moments on retreat have happened around a table. Sharing a meal. Learning the stories and rituals behind local foods. Tasting something grown nearby, prepared with care, and offered with love.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible chefs on our retreats. People who remind us that food is more than nourishment for the body. It’s culture, connection, creativity, and a way of caring for one another.

At Zion Well, we believe gathering around a meal can be an act of self-love. Choosing to slow down. Letting someone else nourish you. Making space to savor, connect, and receive. In a world that constantly asks us to give more, sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is allow ourselves to be nourished. Body, mind, and soul.

🍁 Join us for The Great Harvest Retreat on November 12, where we’ll welcome our favorite local chef, Allison Anastasio, to share in an evening celebrating the season, community, and the abundance of the fall harvest.
We’ll gather for a local artisan market, restorative somatic yoga and meditation, a beautiful plant-based dinner prepared by Chef Allison, and local wine tasting with Social Vines Winery.
📍 November 12 | 4:30–8 PM
💫 Yoga starts at 5:30p
Come for the whole evening, or arrive a little late if life calls for it. There’s room for you here.

What if, this season, you let yourself be nourished, too?Let this be your invitation to give something back to yourself. To step away from the noise, gather with good people, eat food made with love, and remember what it feels like to be cared for.

Save your spot. We’d love to share this table with you.

November invites us to slow down, turn inward, and make space for what matters.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, fall is associated with the Metal element and the lungs—a time connected to breath and the ritual of letting go. As the world around us sheds what it no longer needs, we’re reminded that we, too, can soften our grip, create space for new perspectives, and find nourishment in the quieter moments.

Turning inward doesn’t mean turning away from one another. 🤎

Community plays a meaningful role in our mental health. Having spaces where we feel seen, supported, and connected can help us navigate life’s uncertainties with steadiness. Sometimes, caring for ourselves means gathering with others, sharing an experience, or simply being in a room where we don’t have to be anything other than who we are.

This November, we invite you to make space for yourself and one another through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection.

✨ Save the dates for our upcoming November workshops + events. We look forward to practicing alongside you. by @zion.well

In Yoga Sutra 2.46, Patanjali offers us Sthira Sukham Asanam — the posture should be steady and easeful.
Sthira means steadiness, stability, and groundedness. And there is something powerful about bringing this quality into our bodies, our nervous systems, and our lives.

When we feel supported, we can begin to soften. When our nervous system senses a little more safety, we may find space to explore places within ourselves that once felt inaccessible. When we stop forcing, we can start listening.

This is the somatics of stability: learning to recognize what helps us feel grounded enough to explore, move, rest, and change.

Sometimes that means moving slowly. Sometimes it means using a block, a chair, wall or a blanket. Sometimes it means asking a friend to sit beside us, letting someone help carry what feels heavy, or giving ourselves permission to do less.

It means tuning in to what our systems actually need instead of asking ourselves to push through what they cannot hold right now. We don’t have to rush toward expansion. We can build a foundation that allows it to happen naturally.

When we create steadiness in one part of ourselves, we make room to discover new possibilities in our bodies, our minds, and our spirits. You don’t have to push yourself open. You can learn to feel safe enough to unfold. 🙏🏽

What if your body doesn’t need you to push harder, but to listen a little more closely?

After completing a somatic training, Art is excited to share a new set of skills that explore how we move, breathe, hold tension, and respond to stress.

Our bodies carry so much. Sometimes that shows up as chronic pain, restricted movement, tension in the jaw or shoulders, difficulty breathing deeply, or patterns of strain we can’t seem to move beyond.

Art is looking for one person to work with privately over 6–8 weeks, using Somatic Awareness Techniques : slow and intentional movement, and meditation techniques to explore specific areas of dysfunction and support greater ease in the body and nervous system.

Together, we’ll create space to slow down, deepen body awareness, and explore new ways of moving, breathing, and finding stillness. All levels of experience are welcome. 🤍

We’re looking for someone experiencing chronic pain, persistent tension, or dysfunction in the hips, shoulders, neck/jaw, spine, edema, insomnia, diaphragm, or other areas of the body.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear your story.
Email = info@zionwell.com to apply. Tell us a little about what you’re experiencing and why you’d like to participate.

Sometimes, the beginning of change is simply creating the space to listen more closely.

*This complimentary program offers supportive movement and meditation practices. It is not a substitute for medical care or a guarantee of symptom relief.

When life feels full, the practice can feel like one more thing on an already endless to-do list. But what if we began to see our practice not as time taken away from our day, but as an investment in how we experience it?

Taking time to move, breathe, and reconnect with yourself can help regulate your nervous system, ease stress, and support your mental health. It creates space to pause, notice what’s happening within you, and respond to life with greater intention rather than moving through it on autopilot.

And that presence doesn’t stay on the mat. It follows you into your conversations, your relationships, your work, and the small moments that make up your everyday life.

You don’t have to carve out hours or have the perfect routine. Start where you are. Even a few intentional moments can be a way of reminding yourself that your well-being is part of your life, not separate from it.

What might change if you made a little more space for yourself? 🌿 Join us tonight and find out.

Before anyone arrives, before the music begins, before the room fills with movement and breath… there is this.

A quiet space. An open door. A place to land.

We often talk about the practice of yoga, but there is something just as important happening here before the first pose, in the moments between classes, and long after everyone has rolled up their mats.

It’s the container we hold for one another.

A space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. Where you can show up tired, overwhelmed, grieving, joyful, uncertain, or simply needing to be around other people. Where you can take up space without having to explain yourself. Where you can soften your shoulders, exhale a little deeper, and remember that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

We believe safety is something we build together. In the way we welcome one another, the way we listen, the way we make room for differences, and the way we show up even when we don’t have the perfect words.

The room may be empty now, but it holds the echoes of so many breaths, quiet breakthroughs, shared laughter, tears, friendships, and moments of belonging.

This is what we mean when we say community.

People may come for yoga, but we hope they find a place where they feel a little more at home in themselves and a little less alone in the world.

**You belong here. Exactly as you are.** 🙏🏽 See you on your mat this weekend!

Our Room to Breathe workshop was such a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we slow down enough to really listen to the body. ✨

We moved away from the rush of getting somewhere in our practice and made space for something different: somatic movement, slow and intentional pranayama, and unique, supportive chair work that invited us to explore the body in new ways. Bringing awareness to the ribs, diaphragm, and lungs, exploring the movement and expansion that make each breath possible.

When we slow down, we give ourselves an opportunity to notice. To feel where we’re holding tension, to soften where we’ve been bracing, and to explore what it feels like to move without forcing or rushing. This kind of intentional, supported movement and breathing can help us regulate our nervous system and create moments of safety, presence, and ease.

And sometimes, the work isn’t about taking a bigger breath. It’s about creating the space to receive one.

As we move through autumn, a season that invites us to reflect on grief, change, and letting go, may we remember that we don’t have to carry everything into the next moment. We can soften. We can release. We can make room. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this practice of slowing down, turning inward, and remembering what it feels like to breathe a little more freely.

Life is full of contradictions. ⚖️

We can be grateful for where we are and still long for something different. We can be strong and need support. We can be growing and still struggle with the same things. We can love our lives and still need a break.

Yoga reminds us that the practice isn’t about becoming someone who never struggles, never doubts, or always finds balance. It’s about learning to meet ourselves in the middle of it all.

To hold space for the uncomfortable alongside the beautiful. To soften where we’ve learned to be rigid. To recognize that two seemingly opposite things can be true at the same time.

You don’t have to resolve every contradiction within yourself. Sometimes, the practice is simply allowing yourself to be human.

Which reframe do you need the most today? 🤍

Save this for a day when you need the reminder, or share it with someone who might, too.
