Zion Murphy (@zionbinetmurphy) brought care, clarity, and intention to Black Light this year.

As our MFA liaison, his support in shaping the MFA Alumni Showcase and uplifting our filmmakers made a meaningful impact.

Zion helped build community at @themiracledc, connecting with students, guiding the Q&A conversations, and championing the work being made across Howard’s MFA Film program.

Grateful for your brilliance, your calm, and your commitment to Black Light’s vision.

Looking forward to building with you in the spring.

See you in the light. ✨
