“Do you finish at the end of the night?”

Your wedding night is what I call the “rough draft stage”. It takes me about 30-40 hours to complete a painting. The studio is where the magic happens 🎨
One day I’d like to get farther by the end of the night, but as for now- this is the average place I get to!

APPRECIATION POST

A little different, but I wanna take a moment to acknowledge my biggest supporter and introduce my husband, Adam.
When I travel far for weddings, you might see him for a few moments helping me set up or pack up when I leave. And definitely snapping a few pictures of me and even posting them to his own socials.
He boasts about what I do to friends and strangers. He shares my art. He always listens to my marketing ideas and my struggles when I am deep into the imposter syndrome stage questioning if I’m good enough. And snaps me back into HECK YA I am.

From the beginning, he has always supported my dreams as an artist. He never told me it’s unrealistic.
When I was graduating high school, I wanted to go to art school. But I listened to people telling me that wasn’t the “smart” decision and so instead I pursued a bachelors degree. I don’t regret going to college- after all that’s how I met my husband (and some great friends, and many great memories). But I always knew my heart was following an artist dream- I just wasn’t sure what that entirely meant. It took years of detouring to figure out what I want to do.
Live Wedding Painting is truly what I know I am meant to do.

My husband is another reason I love what I do- because I know what it’s like to marry your best friend. To step into a new and exciting chapter.

Witnessing weddings truly fills my heart. (Not ashamed to say it’s not uncommon for me to shed tears for strangers). AND I GET TO CAPTURE THESE MOMENTS. With my art!! HOW COOL IS THAT?!

So if you hire me as your wedding painter, know you’re not just hiring an artist, but someone who is rooting and praying for your love story.
