Czarface & Frankie Pulitzer - Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer (2026)

A new album released by rapgroup Czarface and Frankie Pulitzer which is the alter ego of famous actor Tom Hardy. I really enjoyed this album on my first listen and I think its a really cool project, I have another album by Czarface which I also really enjoy. I would have prefered the more comic version of the cover (last slide) in my opinion it looks way cooler and fits the Czarface look better.

As my first post on this fresh page I didn't just wanna choose any random record I have, instead I picked the first one I ever bought.

Juice WRLD - Legends Never Die (2020)

This is the first posthumous release of Juice WRLD meaning its the first album released after his death, (which rarely works to me) in this case its fine. The album is good, it has bangers and feels somewhat coherent, some of the features don't really make sense to me, like Marshmello and The Weeknd. I don't really listen to him anymore, the only reason I would listen to this again is for nostalgic reasons, to go back to this time in my life.

Back in the start of 2021 during covid I started collecting. At that time this album was half a year old and I randomly decided I could start collecting vinyl. I bought this record because I was a big Juice WRLD fan along with artists like Travis Scott, Trippie Redd and XXXTENTACION. Although sometimes I feel emberrased to say that this is the first record I bought, it does feel nostalgic and a good reminder of where I started and where I am now with my collection. by @zmk_vinyl

Damy - Mensenkind (2023)

A Dutch solo project by Damy full of emotion. He talks about dark times in his past and writes poetic and raw songs about loss and selfreflection. I found him from his collab with Sor, who I really like, they are in the same rap group "Black Acid". Glad I found this project! by @zmk_vinyl

Snoop Dogg - R&G (2004)

My favorite Snoop Dogg album although I have never heard any other full Snoop Dogg project. The Neptunes and The Alchemist have both produced on this album and Pharrel is even featured on the biggest single "Drop It Like It's Hot". I just really like the way he raps over some of these songs, next time I'll see an album of his on cd and its cheap, I'll take it!!! by @zmk_vinyl

Molchat Doma - Belaya Polosa (2024)

A project by the Bellarussian band Molchat Doma who make alot of anti government music. The album is mostly post-punk, new wave and synth-pop music. It's called "Belaya Polosa" which translates to white stripe, I believe white stripe stands for good luck and is also a symbol in the war against the russian propaganda. I bought this when it was first released, their previous work was really good and their single "Son" was just out. It was pressed on this beautiful ghost orange pressing and includes a poster of the band and a singed art card. by @zmk_vinyl

Mother's Finest - Another Mother Further (1977)

A record I bought in a antique store because of the cover, together with an album by 10cc, which I will post in the future. When I got home and played the record for the first time after only listening to like 2 tracks in the store before I biught it, I realised it has a signature on it. I did some research and couldn't 100% confirm who's it is, but someone on reddit told me it could be by Glenn "Doc" Murdock. by @zmk_vinyl

Larry Lovestein & The Velvet Revival - You (2012)

Larry Lovestein is one of Mac Miller's alter ego's, he used this name to release a completely new style of music. You is a small 22 minute long EP with jazz music, "The Velvet Revival" is also an imaginary support band, it is all produced by Mac Miller himself. He even created names for the whole band with names as funny as Larry Lovestein.

The variant I have is a newly release reissue of the EP, I used to have a bootleg but bought the real one as soon as is was re-released. The EP comes on a standard black 10 inch record. by @zmk_vinyl

Gotu Jim & Jacob Dubbel - Grote Komeet (2026)

A Dutch project made by 2 long time friends Gotu Jim and Jacob Dubbel who form the duo "Grote Komeet". The songs on this album have been made in 2020 but recently the duo decided to actually release it and put it on vinyl. Although Jacob said he was very much inspired by LCD Soundsystem, blending synths and guitars so smoothly, Jim says he never heard the music of the band.

I saw Gotu Jim live at the start of this year and really enjoyed his performance, he didn't play any of the songs on this record, but it was great. I listened to this project album after its release and needed the physical record in my collection. by @zmk_vinyl

Calvin Harris & Funk Wav - Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 (2017)

A collab project between Calvin Harris and Funk Wav featuring many other artists like: Frank Ocean, Katy Perry, Young Thug and many others. I had 2 songs on here that I really liked so I bought the record, I don't play it alot cuz it has many weak moments. by @zmk_vinyl

SCARLXRD - INFINITY (2019)

Scarlxrd used to make Youtube video's, thats where I found him and then later I started listening to his music. People used to say he way just copying XXX, maybe back in the day it used to make sense, but rn it doesn't make any sense to me. Its cool but I don't listen to it cuz I don't like this type of music anymore.

Just sold this but wanted to share it anyway. by @zmk_vinyl

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist (2012)

Macklemore kinda was my introduction to hiphop, so when I found this cd in my thrift store I was so excited. I remember I found it with some other very nostalgic albums, so someone left a goldmine in there. And now with the recent stuff going on around Macklemore💛 and the Ed Sheeran💩 tour, I thought this would be a relevent time to post. I have 1 Macklemore album and 0 Ed Sheeran, let that speak for who's side I'm on in this situation 🍉 by @zmk_vinyl

Yung Lean - Jonatan (2025)

Yung Lean has been one of my favorite artists of the last years, diving into his catalogue and seeing him on tour for the first time last year. The show was amazing, so much energy and the stage looked so cool! I have only listened to the full album once but some songs on here i've listened to alot. The cover has a picture of Yung Lean and its glossy, the rest of the cover is matt, so thats cool. by @zmk_vinyl
