🎃👻 So frickin happy with this mani! I feel like not adding topcoat to the stamping just makes it look so clean and visible. I still haven’t figured out my matte topcoat situation so it hurts me to try and then leave it up to the possibility that it’ll ruin my whole mani so maybe this is a good workaround. Although it’s only been a few days n some of my stamps have def scraped off so that’s lame.

But anyways please enjoy my creepy cute monsters. What’re your Halloween plans?

I’m going to trick or treat later in the rain, socal’s first rainy Halloween I think ever?? so I hope I get sm candy hehe so I can get heartburn later 🥲

Happy Weem 🧡🦇💚🕷️💜🪲 Twinning Halloween mani with @zmonshinx!!! This was so much fun Bee, your mani turned out adorable, and thanks for letting me take the reins with the designs! Sure you will get me back with some stamping challenge next month hehe. I hope everyone has a fun and safe halloweem 🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜

Pleasantly surprised with how this turned out since I haven’t free handed anything or done non stamping nail art in a while!

@kdnailedit thank you for the inspo!!!

🧡💚💜 Weeee happy Halloween!! Here’s a yummy little twin moment with the lovely @ghoulish.grabbers. I’m so happy to have done this with you, Lauren! I had so much fun pushing myself out of my comfort zone for freehand and playing around with colors. I loved how different our manis came out but that they still match the inspo pic.

Ngl it was looking like a very trust the process moment as I was lazy gradienting these polishes! Since two of these polishes are metallic I feel like they weren’t easily blending but honestly they were sheer enough formulas that it went okay. The orange jelly holo I used was not blending though against the beige-purple base so I added a purple jelly. I loved how yours came out, you seriously matched the inspo pic, I sort of aspired for it hehe.

Here’s to more spooky n non spooky twins to come! I’m excited to get to know your polish tastes more, deepen our friendship and do some nail art! Thank you for always being an open, vulnerable and kind person in our chats and letting me live vicariously through some of your polish purchase milestones (hehe first jellies woohoo!). Hope everyone has a happy and safe halloweeeeeen!

Thank you to @kdnailedit for the nail inspo!

🔮🧟‍♂️ My twitchy witchy girl…I think you are so nice I give you bowls of porridge and I give you lots of ice…scream…

Hehe I’m satisfied with calling this my Halloween mani of the year because I’ve finally received my glass bead certification. Yup I’m a pro, so mani bead motor contraptions and glass bead towers can all retire because it’s me I’m the final boss with my boba cup, painters tape and plastic pickle jar lid bead contraption. Yup.

So this is @mooncat Mutiny (that feels weird to say) in a glass bead with @cirquecolors Notetorious over top (needed more sporkle) and @arcanalacquer Edict of Bane glass bead over @lynbdesigns Capricious with added flakies using @holotaco Galactic.

So I need to say the edict of bane alone woulda probably been perfect bc I think you can’t even see the LynB juicy purple base w blue shimmer bc the arcana is so opaque. But I will say in glass bead all the yummy bacterial flakes in the arcana get pretty hidden so I added them w the holo taco flakie topper. (I actually think I like the Arcana more in cat eye, I know—diabolical but those flakessss). As for the reflective multicolored topper Notetorious, it actually looked great over the dark green base of Mutiny bc usually it looks like little gray ants esp over lighter colors.

Sighhh I know people around you are saying Halloween is almost over but don’t listen to them, it’s spooky season all year…

🪺👻 This might be my fav spooky mani of the season and my fav part is it was totally unplanned n a result of being totally in the flow state.

So this started with me feeling frazzled n uninspired bc honestly I’ve been painting my nails A LOT and I only have so many colors so I grabbed two colors I really don’t wear often and then I decided to combine them. This is a collab box (I can’t remember if Ppu or hhc) @bcblacquers May the Forest Be With You layered over @nightowllacquer HHC I don’t appreciate your lack of sarcasm n then another layer of the BcB.

So the BCB is a pretty straight forward teal shimmer with black flakies but the Night Owl is wild. It’s a clear base I think with pink to copper to green and even yellow I swear shimmer and it also has teal multichrome flakes that shift to purple. I’ve learned the Night Owl is a pretty good topper despite its wackiness and it made this teal just that much more spooky and mucus like but in a really good ghostly ectoplasm kind of way so from there I really liked how the combo was turning out n was like man this is literally the perfect color for a little ghostie. So that’s when my lil baby ghosts and my booger skeleton was born.

I really love how I stamped JUST enough to still show off the base but the layout of everything isn’t distracting or too overwhelming (which I do often). Idk what it is but stamping goddesses just know the exact dimensions and placements of where to put stamps so it shows off the base but also doesn’t look crowded. I’m still learning that. But here it’s delicious.

Which finger is your favorite?

🌲Here’s my submission to the #HalloweenForeverCollab
#HFCStephenKingLizmoPink #LizmosPinkChallenge2026 collab hosted by @halloweenforevercollab and @lizmospinkchallenge! Thank you to the hosts and coordinators.

I had to push myself out of my comfort zone for this theme because I don’t know much about Stephen King but another talented lacquerista used a book cover as inspo and that was such an amazing idea I wanted to try too! I found a cover with some pink and tried to replicate the constellations with some stamping (this was hard I don’t actually own a star plate haha) and I even tried the jelly gradient to do the night sky. I think my index finger came out the most clean with the gradient but I loved the process!

-used @luridlacquer Little Witches, @zoyanailpolish Sparrow, Malia and @ilnp Interstellar, Cityscape and Deep Space for the gradient

I’m embarrassed to say I don’t own a gitd topper and I was too lazy to use neons :( so I tried to layer the most glowy colors I could with some holographic stamping to make a polish that LOOKS like it should glow in the dark hehe. I think it came out so cool! This is definitely more dainty than I’m used to doing but it was a fun change from the super fun colors I usually do! Hopefully my little candy ghosts and butterfly stamps are legible. I feel like the holo from @ilnp Bare sort of covers it up. I used many layers of @holotaco Freezer Burn for that blue glow bc my mom stole my ILNP Flower Child which woulda been perfect 😫

-used @ilnp Bare as a base with 2-3 layers of @holotaco Freezer Burn and @whatsupnails Silver Agent for stamping

🩸 Honestly October is not complete without a mani with @ilnp Poison which I am so proud to say has the deepest fill line in my collection. Last year me would be absolutely floored by that fact. The funny thing is the polish is so used up not bc I loved it for the entirety of owning it but bc I wanted so damn bad to learn how to use it n love it n I guess my love is stubborn cuz I kept trying A LOT. Also this polish works rlly well layered over other colors and for nail art. Idk how I used so damn much of it up but I did.

I think I’ve finally made peace with this polish as a fall polish n I love it now. Before I was sad to see how much the copper and yellow tones come out bc I wanted a neutral red magnetic. This is not that. This is a shifty red to copper sometimes to gold magnetic so I just leaned into that and added @kbshimmer Take it or Leaf it over it which shifts to the same colors. Sometimes Poison looks super fiery and sometimes it looks mad orange. Overall it’s gorgeous especially if I imagine it’s mimicking a pretty tree changing colors in the fall instead of like blood vampire red mani. I think I’ll need a diff magnetic for that.

🕸️🕷️There needs to be more emojis I’m running out. There should be a witchy potion emoji for this combo inspired by my bestie westie @swatchedclaws. Earlier this week she showed me a combo of Mooncat Forces of Evil over a deep red base and I loved it so much I wanted to try it with my dupe by @boldfishpolish Eye Candy and a deep chocolate brown base of @zoyanailpolish Elaine. My combo is different but that’s also because Eye Candy is different. It’s way more packed with flakes that look almost multichrome or metallic rather than iridescent like FOE and the base is very strong, almost leaning towards crelly rather than jelly. Because of this, I layered @cirquecolors Royal Jelly for a deeper purple base and to blend it better bc I’m telling you that pink/magenta base was showing out n it didn’t look good.

I grew to rlly rlly love this combo especially in the context of witchy nails and I love how the purple jelly brought out the intense cobalt and red flakes.

Hehe thank you Nia for your big brain combo ideas.

🦋☂️ Please don’t be tired of all my purples I know I’ve been wearing a lottttt. I just feel like I can easily post all my orangey fall polishes well into November but purple just feels like October I’m sorryyyy. So this is @holotaco Don’t be Jelly paired with @roguelacquer PPU Cirque de Celebracion. The flakie has a mix of green blue orange and purple? Flakes in a purple pinky base. The rogue is basically a multichrome with a little bit of holo flake? and it has slightly faded since last year where it mostly looks blue/green now but in some angles it still shows a little bit of the purple base but it’s def faded. I was rlly surprised how well the rogue matched the flakes of the holo taco and it just scratched my brain in a really yummy way.

I’ve noticed a pattern that I often do the vampire skittle when using multiple polishes. Usually I just wear two for ease and I love matching diff elements to other polishes and coordinating details like flakes, shimmer etc. It just tickles me hehe. Have you noticed any patterns like that in your polishing techniques slash what types of skittles do you prefer? Alternating? Three colors? Vampire teeth? I bet there’s more.

🎃 🔮 I have been absolutely spoiling my purples and oranges this month. Apparently I seem like a blue loving girly (I feel like I wear green the most tbh) so I wanted to create an October rack where I really loved on my purples and oranges (I don’t own enough oranges pls recommend me some). I’ve also been rewearing combos I discovered last year which feels very matured prefrontal cortex of me, ie we have polish at home sort of mindset. But I really love it. I totally get the whole love of wearing polish seasonally because I have been thinking about this combo all year, mainly the purple.

Last year I paired @holotaco Crashing Out with a deep purple base by Kbshimmer and I love how it hid the navy base and brought out every color in those flakes whereas layered on its own the red flakes are more apparent. This year I decided to pair it with a more magenta purple base with red shimmer that I haven’t loved wearing so far. It’s @luridlacquer Little Witches. I’ve worn and posted this one before n honestly I think it’s just a case of this polish looked better in the online swatches. There’s nothing necessarily wrong with it I’m just spoiled by pigmented polishes with big impact. This is more subtle. Honestly crashing out is the star of the show here.

Then I wore a combo I discovered recently using @ilnp Amber, Party Popper and Tango. It’s a jelly mash up of the jelly Tango (very orange and perfect formula) with layers of the gold flakes in between all over unmagnetized Amber which is a creamy orangey yellow color. The flakes under the jelly add a lovely texture and almost make it look like a real flakie polish. Sometimes this isn’t achievable with toppers or even jellies, I’ve noticed only certain combos blend well enough to look as good as if you only used one polish.

This felt very halloweeny and I’ll take all the festivities I can. Idc if department stores are already forcing Christmas on me. I’ll have my Halloween fun well into November I don’t careee.
