RAMADAN DAY 1⃣9⃣

GROWTH IS LIGHT
One of my highlights of 2022 was when I applied and had the opportunity of being picked to be a member of The Growth Club- which I joined officially in August,2022.
Partaking in The Growth Club activities, which range from the weekly tasks(leant a lot of values and adopted new behaviors from the tasks 🤭), to reading and reviewing the book of the month, to having our weekly book review, the weekly check-in sessions on Thursdays (loads of games and activities hosted by the bestttttt host. 🙌🏾), the monthly spotlight sessions and the submission and self evaluation of reports(one thing I love about the report submission was the fact that we all had to self evaluate ourselves), has helped me in being intentional about my emotions, my actions, the way I relate with people and so much more.
The first book we read after joining the club was "Say it like Obama". The book was the push I needed in working towards my speaking skills. I finally resumed taking courses after a long while and began making practice podcast(The Notsosopodcast 💜✨). Like Captain said to me once ;"To be better at a craft, practice. Don't just practice, be consistent about it too". I've learnt that one should be consistent with an action before intensifying the action.🌱
The most important lesson I've learnt from The Growth Club is that, one can't just change all at once, as growth is gradual. To enjoy the process(which isn't an easy one); we have to be intentional, consistent, do the little things(like they say "little drops of water eventually makes the ocean"), be prayerful and celebrate our little wins to be able to celebrate the big ones.

I resumed writing sometime last year after @_._.aliyah made me realize I have to embrace the fact that my emotion steers my writing. 😩
