National 4-H Conference 2025! 🍀

I had the most amazing opportunity to co-facilitate a roundtable group of youth from across the country while they tackled questions posed to them by the US Department of Defense. We spent the week leading the group in their presentation creation, exploring Washington D.C.’s museums and monuments, and making lifelong connections! We ended the week with an unforgettable trip to the Pentagon for our roundtable group’s incredible presentation.

I’m so grateful for this wonderful opportunity and the friends that I made along the way! taken in Washington, DC by @zoekelter_

An extremely overdue post from NESA 2025!

This March I had the chance to attend NESA at Penn State. We completed three areas, livestock judging, quiz bowl, and presentations. I presented on Heat Stress in Dairy Cattle. 🐮

My amazing Team F took home 2nd place judging team, 5th place quiz bowl team, and overall 3rd place team! And, DelVal placed 1st overall institution! Such a fun, amazing weekend! 🐏

PA State Leadership Conference 2025!
Throughout this weekend in early February we attended numerous workshops, listened to speakers, line danced, welcomed the new state council, and more! I had such an amazing time and am grateful for all of the new friends that I’ve made from across the state!

I had a great time riding Mikey in the fun show with the DelVal Dressage team this past November! We completed Intro test C and scored a 64.75%.

Thank you so much for @jaybirdequestrian for the amazing photos!

It’s crazy that Hooover is 18 years old and this is only his second time jumping! He’s doing super well so far! I’d love to do some eventing with him in the summer! 🐴

A well overdue post from the PA State 4-H Dairy Show! Rolex and Riddle were both good! Rolex came 10th in her class of 12 jersey spring calves and Riddle placed 2nd in her class of 2 red and white summer yearlings. 🫣😅🐮

My first time showing cows at the Hunterdon County 4-H fair was so much fun! Rolex placed 2nd in her class of 3 jersey spring calves and Riddle placed 2nd out of 2 summer yearlings. Rolex and I did some of the fun classes at the end as well, including a showmanship competition and a costume class. I brought the pirate costume back of course. 🏴‍☠️ We also explored the fairgrounds before heading back to the barn!

The Middletown Grange Fair was such a fun week of showing! We started it off with a Horse Bowl competition and small early birthday celebration (see last 2 photos). On Thursday we all participated in the dairy judging and stockman’s contest, and on Friday we continued with the open Holstein show. Peppermint did super! She placed 1st in the Sr. 2 year old class and received both Reserve Sr. Champion and Reserve Grand Champion! We also were the honorable mention in the inaugural costume class! Riddle placed 4th in the summer yearling class and Rolex got to participate in the Kiddie class. On Saturday, during the 4-H show, Peppermint placed 2nd, Riddle placed 1st, and Rolex placed 2nd in the Jersey spring calf class! We also received both the Master Showman and Master Fitter ribbons and were allowed to participate in the extra showmanship competition! Where we did super well until Rolex decided that she was too tired to continue. (Sorry Luci) 😂 🐮 🏅

Zeo was such a good boy today! It’s my first time having a real ride in a while, even longer since I’ve jumped, and my first time jumping Zeo ever. Luckily he was super! 🤩
