I’ve been obsessively reading about cute studies recently. Cuteness is everywhere in modern culture and almost no one takes it seriously. Academics are finally paying attention!!! here’s what the field of cute studies actually says 🎀🧚🏼🪽✨🫧

I’ve also been creating a reading list. It arrives on June 10, find the link in my bio <3 by @zoenobileau

this makes me feel deeply unsettled :’(

I know we’re all sick and tired of talking about AI but this has been on my mind for a while and I felt like I needed to say something.

Wherever you stand on the AI debate, it is clear that when you feel emotionally connected to something, you aren’t able to view it as objectively. And this is the problem I see arising if we begin to cuteify these kinds of technologies.

thank you @dalejoshuapaul for sharing your thoughts on this 💕 by @zoenobileau

education can be playful and cute, even as an adult 🦋

ADHD is a disability, and I’m so impressed by the ADHD creators who do what they do while living with it. I’m really happy they got to feel celebrated for their work that de-stigmatises ADHD 💞🪽

If you want a thoughtful take on the diversity conversation, @adhd.christal has a great video on this. Or a take on the “superpower” conversation from someone who lives it, @chloeshayden’s latest post is brilliant 🧚🏼

Thank you so much @parishilton and the @11.11media team for inviting me and making the day so thoughtful!! ✨Talks led by @understoodorg by @zoenobileau

welcome to a new series! I’m starting to turn my research into carousels for you guys 💞

I wanted to begin here because this is one of the earliest written records of someone taking cute things seriously enough to write them down 🧚🏼✨

i landed in LA yesterday. it’s my first time ever being here, and apparently the first stop on my itinerary is paris hilton’s house?? 🌴🎀

i’m trying very hard to be chill about this and failing completely. this is genuinely the craziest thing that has ever happened to me.

six months ago i hadn’t posted a single video. i had a head full of thoughts about pink and cuteness and why the things girls love get dismissed, and i wasn’t sure anyone would care. posting them felt terrifying.

if this has taught me anything, it’s that the things that feel most you are worth putting out into the world, even (especially) when they feel a bit embarrassing to say out loud. being brave enough to do that without shame is what got me here.

and if anyone gets that, it’s paris. she’s been so open about her ADHD: writing a song about it, making a series about designing ADHD-friendly spaces, even giving the characters in her kids’ cartoon ADHD so little ones can see themselves on screen 🥹 she’s shown that you can be sparkly, pink AND taken seriously.

i’m also SO excited to meet a room full of cute neurospicy women. the scattered fairies are assembling 🧚‍♀️💕

thank you to everyone who has watched, commented, shared and nerded out with me. you’re the reason i’m about to walk into the most iconic house in beverly hills 😭

tomorrow is the day. tell me your questions for paris in the comments and i’ll report back ✨

thank you @parishilton @11.11media for having me 💕✨
