I’m comforted by the idea of being his safe space to unmask and release everything he’s held together, though the impact can be so real!

I’m desperate to be a library story time mom but I’m low key traumatized from our last attempt… from maybe a year ago 😅

moms of exceptionally active kiddos - how are we surviving it?? or are we staying in hiding 🫣

Hank (3.5) is ready again I think but Beam (15mo) is reeeeally starting to smell himself

the dinner push is hard on everyone I think, but for my connection-seeking toddler it’s torture.

we stumbled upon a game that’s silly but it’s bigger than that - it allows him to explore control, rule-breaking, and anger in a healthy way. that’s big for us!

bonus: he’s eating “forbidden fruit” as a nutritious appetizer ;)

I didn’t know that I’d be prepping just as hard for happy events as for difficult times, but a change in routine can be challenging for sensitive kiddos especially
