Before having a baby, I would have never thought breastfeeding would make me so emo, but here I am in my feelings with jewelry made out of my breastmilk. Thanks hormones!!! lol
Breastfeeding was emotionally and physically draining. During the first few weeks I shed many tears over my low supply - a main source of my mommy blues (well, that and the hemorrhoids from labor, but that's a story for another day lol 🥴). I gave myself a goal of 6 months and I'm so thankful I was able to reach my goal by supplementing with donor milk and then formula. As hard as it was, it was still so special and I already miss it (and the boobs, ngl lol). Made this necklace from the final drops of my breastmilk so I can remember this experience forever. 🤍
