got Kermit to engineer my session and told him i had a message from Miss Piggy...

jokes aside:
so i was loving the "didnt i do it for you" meme that swept across everyone's for you page for like 2 months. FKA Twig's "Cellophane" is such a pretty song... i wanted to share my take on it.
i worked hard to finish this cover. almost quit several times and even got sick in the middle of recording it. but i kept on 🏆

Kermie was rushing to see our stats after a month of pushing our cover of Cellophane because i didn't show him all month. he was disappointed. most people barely got into the first verse before leaving and it seems like only 1 person stayed long enough for the best part. thx to those who have listened to the cover even if not the entire thing :^) and we hope over time these numbers can look different.

it may seem fun and easy in videos, but there's a lot that goes into creating finished content to share on the internet. i am effectively an entire studio on my own. i don't say this to brag because it's not ideal. this is essential if i want a sliver of a tenth of a chance at a sustainable music career, especially when i do not have the budget to pay professionals or network for help. this is the case for a lot of independent artists. it can be overwhelming.

tools like this make it just a bit easier to get things done on our own until something breaks and we can get more substantial support 👌🏽
