First nogi tournament in the books. Figured I might as well do a big one so picked Pans, lost in the finals to better man today 4 to 2 on points congratulations on getting your black belt. Thank you to Professor @rasheed_bjj for working my corner and thank you to all my professors that helped me do a nogi crash course since I have only taken 14 nogi classes my whole life ha ha it was a lot of fun. Except for having to be under 215 that was not fun. See you all back in the blue basement soon.

Cant believe I agreed to this but I will be running the NYC Marathon. I am fundraising for 2026 NYRR Team for Kids TCS New York City Marathon Fundraising. On Friday, August 14, we’re bringing 5 competitions, Austin gyms, coaches, and some of our favorite fitness brands together under one roof for the KRCT COMP SHOWCASE.

This isn’t just an expo.

Man, I have so many people to thank for earning my brown belt today. To all of my great training partners and my fantastic professors, I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to learn and train with you guys. Special thanks to professor @rafaelsaponatal for another amazing advanced gi class in the blue basement @renzogracieacademy and for the many hard rolls. I still remember my intro class with professor @danielsenapaulino1 like it was yesterday. I am honored and thankful to have been promoted by you both today.

If you're thinking about learning Jujitsu, I’ve tagged a number of great professors at the bottom worth trying out. They have schools in Long Island City, Westchester, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Florida, and Atlanta. All of you professors have helped me out more than I can put into words. I am extremely excited to keep taking your classes and I can't wait to learn more.
