Exactly one year ago today, I got my acceptance letter to @iamtnyc 🏙️ what better way to celebrate than posting my introduction audition video 😅 That email of acceptance validated a dream that had been slowly developing for about 25 years. What’s even crazier than the move itself is the journey which led me here. This is NOT the life I thought I’d be living, at this age, in this place, in this lifetime. But I wouldn’t want it any other way ❤️ This is your reminder to keep challenging your abilities and beliefs. Here’s to raising my Ya-Ya-Ya! Oh, how much I’ve grown in the past year. Past me was nowhere nearly as trained or confident enough to belt this song yet alone perform it as a solo or post about it. Dancing has always been my safe space and singing was my greatest fear. I’m still learning how to transform fear into excitement, but that’s what year two will be for lol.
