Hiro, you’re too amazing. My fitness is garbage right now, but you’re perfect.

It’s been 1 full year since I first held this amazing little guy in my arms. With each day he’s gotten more and more amazing and it’s hard to believe some days. You’re perfect no matter how much you stress me out sometimes.
Love you so much Hiro taken in Portland, Oregon by @zoogore

Been having a decent few weeks on the bike. I’ve been able to get some consistency back and the numbers have been looking strong. Last week I was able to take a win from a small breakaway🥇. Can’t wait to race with the @bscgcleansportguttcoaching squad again! taken in Portland, Oregon by @zoogore

Redlands Classic was awesome. A lot of things went well and a lot of things didn’t. But the experience as a whole was amazing. So happy @bscgcleansportguttcoaching got the opportunity to race this event and I would definitely take another crack @redlandsclassic next year if we have the chance. Since joining this team last year it’s been non-stop opportunities and great experiences. Living the dream little by little.

Photos of me living my dream. First night in Spartanburg SC was tough. Second night in Athens GA didn’t go well and was short. I hit the deck super hard and don’t remember what happened. This season has been fun, fast, scary, stressful and a little painful. With everything else going on in my life off the bike, I’m surprised I managed to race at all. But I’m having a blast.
One thing about these races that has blown my mind is the energy and excitement from the crowds. A constant wall of people screaming and cheering as you try to ride your bike above threshold through a heart attack at 30+mph. Tons of them don’t ride or even care about racing in general, but they’re out there stoked for you whether you’re winning or getting your ass kicked. So happy to be here and so thankful for this opportunity to race with this team. As soon as this hole in my knee heals up it’s back to work!

Fun day at the Hammer Crit today. Decided last minute to stay in town and hit this one up. Sad to miss out on @saltlakecriterium but with the injury I’m coming back from, feeling like shit this week and the fitness hole I’m climbing out of, it was the right choice. Threw down whatever I had today and had some fun with it. Ended up in the 💰💰💰, got to see and race with friends, tried a few things to see what’s still there and made a solid deposit into the watt bank. Now it’s time to hit it hard and sharpen everything back up for my next stop @usacrits with @bscgcleansportguttcoaching !

Tulsa Tough 2021 last week was insane! Lots of going really fast, tons of race anxiety and bit of crashing. So happy be racing @usacrits with @bscgcleansportguttcoaching . These guys are crushers and I feel so lucky for this opportunity. Thanks to everyone who watched and reached out after the first night. Now to focus on healing up and staying strong for the next few stops of #usacrits ! taken in Tulsa, Oklahoma by @zoogore

Pretty rough week both on and off the bike so I forgot to post. Had my first race in almost 2 years up in WA last week. Rolled up alone with no teammates, in a field that had 2 decently represented squads. Rolled the dice a bit on the game plan for the day but it worked out pretty well. Ended up in a 3 person break halfway through that stuck and I finished second 🥈! Very happy with my first day of racing in what felt like a decade. Nervous as hell for this season but super excited to be racing with @bscgcleansportguttcoaching this year. Now to prepare for the next one!

Very happy and proud to announce that for 2021 I have been given the opportunity to race with Team @supportcleansportguttcoaching for @usacrits D1! It’s been a long road to get here with plenty of ups and tbh way too many downs, but it feels great to be planning for a season that I’ve been dreaming about for the past handful of years. If you’ve talked to me for 5min in the past few years then it has probably come up how bad I’ve wanted a chance to race the D1 league. So excited to support and throw down at #usacrits with such a strong and successful group of crushers. Fingers crossed that racing can happen this year!!!
