Made a special film with the homies
If you want to check out it's premier .come through to @nairobidesign_ tomorrow and Sunday as well.. Love. by @zord_files

Ever had one of those days when even getting out of bed feels like a negotiation with the universe? And then you have to get up, go to work and somehow carry on while the world outside is falling apart?

That’s the territory of The Big Sad Nairobi 2, a film about a man trying to navigate the ordinary business of being alive in a city weighed down by anxiety and political unease.

And speaking of political unease, Bobi Wine: The People’s President takes us into Uganda, following a musician whose songs became a rallying cry for change. From the streets of Kampala to the presidential campaign trail, Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie find themselves confronting a regime determined to silence them.

This November, we're bringing both stories to the screen.

📍 The Alchemist, Nairobi
🗓️ Tuesday, 10 November
🕖 7:00 PM

Entry is FREE! RSVP through the link in the @mengimengifilm bio.

Some of the cool people who kicked it with Zord this weekend by @zord_files

That's me; the kid with the hot stuff T-shirt and his mother's neck piece 😊 my homie Eugene and I were doing what you would call a science experiment....must have been 10 or something. That kid loved drawing and watching tv and just kicking it with his homies. Many moons later, the kid now a man with a beard still loves doing those things, not a lot of science experiments though. All this to say is I'm still making art for that kid and I think that kid will be very proud of me right now, coz we are still making cool stuff that makes me and him excited every time we sit down to draw.

Come through to the pop up on Saturday;) come looking like hot stuff. by @zord_files

One day only . Free. Come see some art and perhaps get some art. Come let's dance awkwardly and play some Sean Paul. And I'll tell you why I'm always hating on Rongai. Save the date 📅 and bring a friend ;) by @zord_files

"Boys just wanna have fun

Men love things. They love the sound of birds in the morning. They love hugs and warm cups of tea on particular days. They love being touched for comfort. They like chuckling and love laughing from bad jokes that they get headaches. They love dressing up and receiving compliments. They love feeling needed and noticed. They cry in the cinema during a Sandra Bullock romcom. They love nice carpets and cold toilet seats. men love things.
