OH to be a woman of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 🔺

It is truly an honor to be a part of an organization of rich legacy and trailblazers, past and present, who continue paving the way. I can’t wait to continue growing within this organization and furthering the work of Delta. A dream come true that still does not feel real.

To the Alpha Beta Chapter 🆎:
I am truly thankful to be a part of this 100-year-old legacy. This chapter has welcomed me with so much love and support. Though my time was short, AB will FOREVER be a part of me. The real yard runners of the century!

To my PROS, the 9 ♥️:
I truly admire each one of you. Thank you for teaching me not only the way of Delta, but also patience, sincerity, and dedication. You all took a chance on me, welcomed me with open arms, and became the big sisters I’ve always wanted. I love you all and can’t wait to see what’s next for each one of you!

To my sisters, the 35 I.C.O.N.S. 🐘:
You all have truly made me a better person, and I’m forever thankful this sisterhood has brought us together. Through every laugh, tear, conversation, and impulsive adventure, I truly cherish each memory we’ve made together. You all are intelligent, talented, and beautiful. I’m really going to miss seeing you all every day, but I know you will continue to run the yard in the most ICONIC way. I love each one of you, and if you ever need anything, I’m always one call away!

To my Soror Aunty, Soror Dr. Piper-Allen, Soror Auntie Ena, and Soror Ms. Dionne I love you all so much. You all are the epitome of Delta women and have guided me with the sincerest honesty and love throughout my journey. I’m truly blessed to call you my sorors ♥️🐘

“If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” — Shirley Chisholm

To the organization that has shaped me into a well-rounded leader, I truly say thank you. Being Student Government Association President is a challenging task that only a few can accomplish. From the summer, starting with just my VP and myself—jumping through loopholes and working with limited resources—to now having a cabinet of 20+ members and delivering initiatives students want to see, this journey has been meaningful. Though I didn’t accomplish everything I had in mind, I can say I led with ambition, consistently advocated, and laid the groundwork for future administrations to come, and that is something I am very proud of.

To my VP:
Thank you for being the calm to my passion. We know the challenges and obstacles we went through this year, but of course, we stepped to the plate and led gracefully. Continue being the amazing and ambitious leader you are. It’s been a pleasure serving beside you!

To my cabinet:
I am so proud of you all. Thank you for embodying determination and commitment. I am truly grateful to have individuals who are both intelligent and passionate about service. Continue these same efforts in everything you do. I wish you all nothing but the best!

To the student body:
I truly am thankful that you all elected me for this position. I hope every event, town hall, and initiative started the necessary conversations that fostered change on our campus. Continue to be the change you want to see and challenging anything that compromises your place as a student on this campus!

Sincerely,

Your 101st SGA President
