✨ Mac Summary Week ✨

What an amazing week! I loved @macbrazilianzouk Summary — it’s such a beautiful opportunity to learn, dance, connect, and meet great people. ❤️

Thank you @alexdecarvalho for putting together such an inspiring course and for bringing so many amazing people together! I loved all the different followers who taught with him, each bringing their own unique style: @lau.lalanne, @patrycja_in_paris & @chrl.manon! 🫶

Loved sharing lots of talks, ideas and dancing projects with @sylvain_riondet. And a big thank you to @larspadmos for helping us with a video project at the last minute! 🎥 It was also cool to meet new friends from @zouk.leeuwarden!

So happy to share these moments with some Barcelona friends, like @zoukglam and @anhi.vicente. 🤗

And the open-air party at BNF was such a vibe— felt like the french @zoukadella_bcn! 🇫🇷

And of course, amazing music from @sabbeijaflor & @simbocop 🔥

Already looking forward to the next one! ✨

@barcelona.zouk Marathon was 🔥

The music
The dancers
The venue

That WAS Zouk Social Video Contest - from September 2023 to August 2025 I gave away over $2,400 in prize money recording over 1,300 dancers from around the world.

Now we’re broke and This.is.zouk is a passion project capturing the Zouk social dance scene. Book us for your next event/festival/marathon/social - just DM me. When you go to zouk events, this is what you see.

🎟️ The contest no one enters but everyone wants to win 🏆
Top social dancing video - chosen by dancers with NO $100 Monthly Cash 💵 Prize anymore but sometimes we giveaway festival passes from sponsors

🎁 All ThisIsZouk shirts 👕 are gifts from zoukers to their favorite dancers. DM us your friends IG or name to buy them an anonymous shirt (we won’t tell them, but you can). Just tell us which Quote “NOT A CULT LEADER” is a fun one. We will handle the rest to get their size & shipping address. If you read this far, yes you should buy your friends ThisIsZouk shirts. taken in Barcelona, Spain by @zoukglam

✨ Meet the person behind the voice - Marcela Nicolao ✨

Language interpreter. Translator. Multilingual communication expert.

Marcela is one of those people who is genuinely passionate about what she does - and you feel it the moment you work with her. Reliable, hands-on, and incredibly well-connected in the interpretation world, she’s someone we are truly happy to collaborate with.
Good to know: When she is not behind the scenes in an interpretation booth - you can find her on the dance floor for Brazilian Zouk or Tango since Marcela is a passionate #dancer too! 💃

Marcela, thank you for your great work. We are really grateful to be working with you.
