Most Important Demo of My Life 🥹♥️
Disclaimer: Too emotional content 🥲

This demo is so special because, for the very first time, my grandparents and my aunt saw me dance live. I was so nervous and with tears in my eyes because they are the most important people in my life and I am who I am because of them (“Con ellos aprendí” todo).

Despite having traveled the world performing, they had never witnessed a live show before. Every move I made was a nod to the memories of my childhood—when my mother and grandmother sang that song to me 🎵

And to make it more special, my Zouk mum and dad @williamandirene_dancers were there supporting me and holding my back as they always do. Even they had to do a speech to wait for my family because for them was a blind surprise, they didn’t know they will see me dancing and the arrived late.

A huge thank you to my amazing partner @lau.lalanne , for sharing this magical moment, and to everyone at @zouktenerife for your unwavering support and patience 💛🤍💙

That’s the raw me, without cover and fully vulnerable. Hope you enjoy it 🫣

And you, have you ever danced in front of your family?

It’s not a secret that I see dance has a free place to express.
And I think often time, it offers a space for us to express parts of us that are limited in the world of Words.

I believe dance is a space of freedom—a place where we can explore who we are and find authentic ways to express ourselves, often communicating parts of us that words cannot fully capture. It is also a space where we can move beyond the preconceived ideas and expectations that society places on us, especially around gender.

Dance invites us to listen to ourselves, to embrace what feels natural, and to express who we are without being confined by labels or traditions. So, when choosing a role, I encourage every dancer to choose the one that resonates most deeply with them—the one that allows them to feel free, seen, and authentic.

Let your choice be guided not by what is expected of you, but by what feels true to you. Because dance is not about fitting into a role; it is about making that role your own.

Challenge accepted Zouktime! 🔥

Honestly, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We met at Zouktime in Croatia, Antonio stayed an extra week because of Pavla, and the choreography challenge came along just when Pavla was visiting Antonio in Switzerland.
Now imagine how epic it would be to win this challenge and celebrate together at the next Zouktime!

If you want to support us, please show us some ❤️! Every like counts, and comments are very welcome too! 🙏

And one more thing… this is Pavla’s VERY FIRST choreography! She was a little hesitant to share it, so please show her that it was worth it, even if it's not perfect! 😁

Thank you to @monikanenickova and @ludekluzny from @tanecnistudiostolarna for this challenge!
Thank you also to @danfelixscherrer for the video.
