“As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

These are the irons that sharpen me. This past weekend, my sisters and I decided to have a retreat to just pray & be together. It was to be a time to share in our faith & refresh ourselves for the coming months.

Being in that space & looking back, it’s the happiest I’ve been in a while. I genuinely didn’t stop smiling all through. It was a healthy space, it was a joyous space, it was a spirit filled space.

We talked, we caught up, we laughed, we worshiped, we prayed, we ate (& ate & ate), we broke bread & drank wine, we bonded.

My Iron Was Sharpened.

I was thinking to God about what scripture I would use to caption these photos because I really wanted to demonstrate that God has a hand in friendships as much as He does in romantic relationships, & He said Iron sharpens Iron. My countenance has been sharpened by my friends turned sisters & I pray to have sharpened theirs as well.

I pray for the abundance of Heavenly orchestrated blessings upon my girls @olgachiazo @mimioji_official .. I thank you for loving me, being my sisters, for looking out for me, for making me laugh, for being my confidants and my sisters in faith. I love you from the depth of my heart 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼and I praise God in Heaven for you everyday.

I have a family in you guys.

God bless you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 by @zoza_jd

The journey has been long.
7 years.
Where do I begin my story from???
I just have to thank God, without Him, I wouldn’t have completed the journey. His mercy, His goodness, His love And His Spirit saw me through the toughest of times and the longest of nights.
At long last, I am here.

Allow me to reintroduce myself; I am
