Tomorrow I turn 44, I've been blessed with 32 years of skateboarding. By the strength of God. My back( scoliosis) gives me constant pain. Sometimes is bad sometimes just annoying. Ive lived with chronic pain as long as I can remember. I filmed all this in the last couple months. By the strength of God im able to push through. There's definitely some tricks I wanted/ battled and didn't get. Growing and maturing as a skater I've had to let go of my pride and accept that my body is not what it used to be. Every single time I jump down gaps and stair sets I feel that compression and yet God still grates me the strength. Skateboarding has been one of the great passions of my life. There’s so many aspects of it that fill my heart with joy. The community is one of the most amazing aspects. We did it for the plot! Amazing week trip to see Laura Jane Grace play acoustic sets two nights in a row. Thanks for the company, banter, sharing caring moments and this whole experience. I’ve been skating for 33 years… I always seem to want more. More better tricks, more tech tricks, more tricks in general. I’ll be 45 soon & I remind myself that every moment on the board is a gift. Street skating has always been my passion. To take something intended for one use and seeing another creative way to use something. Skateboarding something that’s not ment to be skateboarded. It’s the best! Our creator is so amazing. Everything he’s inspired us to do and create.
