Using our sisterhood to make a difference💕 by @ztamtsu

Our wonderful Cameran Savner is running for Homecoming Queen and here’s why:

My name is Cameran Savner, and I am so honored to be running for Homecoming Queen at Middle Tennessee State University. My time at MTSU has been about so much more than earning a degree. It has been about the friendships I have made, the memories I will carry with me, and the people who have helped shape me into the person I am today. As a senior majoring in Psychology, I have learned how important it is to make people feel seen, valued, and supported. Those are the same values I try to carry with me every day on this campus. One of the most meaningful parts of my college experience has been my membership in Zeta Tau Alpha. Through Zeta, I have found a sisterhood that has taught me the importance of leadership, service, friendship, and unconditional love. Serving as Vice President of Learning and Development has given me the opportunity to mentor new members and help them find their place in our sisterhood. It has taught me that leadership is not about having a title, but about showing up for others, encouraging them, and making sure they know they belong. My experience in Zeta has made my college years unforgettable and has shown me just how powerful a sense of belonging can be.
That is one of the biggest reasons I am running for Homecoming Queen. I want to represent the spirit of MTSU and celebrate what makes this university so special: the people, the traditions, and the sense of community that brings us together. I believe Homecoming Queen is about more than a crown or a title. It is an opportunity to represent a university that has given so much to its students and to recognize the people who make this campus feel like home. I would be incredibly honored to represent my university, my fellow students, and the organizations that have made my college experience so meaningful.
