Zulu Gremlin (@zulugremlin) | 1993 Manhattan nyc.

The transitions he introduced feel like one of the blueprints that helped shape the direction of modern Breaking.

The way he connected one movement to the next still looks remarkably fresh and beautiful today. He wasn’t simply linking techniques together—he turned the transition itself into a form of Style and expression.

The balance between Transition and Set is something many Breakers continue to explore today. Yet in the movements he showed so many years ago, part of that answer was already there.

More than anything, he demonstrated through his own body what truly makes Breaking feel like Breaking, even before the flashier elements come into play.

Someone who preserved the Foundation while still creating new paths.

In that sense, he is one of the figures in Breaking history who clearly expanded and defined both the meaning and the possibilities of Foundation.
