Life is sweet when you are a Zumba instructor ๐Ÿ’ƒ and a HYROX athlete ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ From the dance floor to the race floorโ€ฆhigh energy, strong vibes, nonstop movement, and the best community โค๏ธ Balancing rhythm and grit is my favorite kind of challenge and I wouldnโ€™t trade this journey for anything. Bad Bunny ๐Ÿฐ dropped an album yesterday and the first song is called NUEVAYoL, he sampled one of the greatest hits from the amazing salsa band El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. As soon as I heard this song, I knew I had to bring it to my Zumba class this morning. Thank you to my Monday morning Life Time Westchester Zumba crew for embracing my new choreography to what is going to be one of the biggest Bad Bunny hits for 2025! HYROX #5 ๐Ÿ”ฅ Boston, we came for a PB and we got it! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ By far my hardest and fastest race! Months of training, running, always feeling sore and tired, but standing at the start of that tunnel, I knew I had the best partner by my side. Together, we were going to make this happen! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ Derrick, thank you for introducing me to this sport, for our weekly trainings at @loseyourselfitness , and for your constant support, motivation and encouragement. To my running partner over the past few months, @alyssagng YOU rock! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’• Thank you for showing up weekly, for the laughter and friendship. I couldnโ€™t have hit my running PB without you! Running Chroniclesโ€ฆ my run/support team is the BEST! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’• 15 weeks ago I set a goal to run a 5K in 25 minutes. My starting point? A struggling 30 minutes. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ I started this journey solo, running every Wednesday and Friday. Then @alyssagng joined me 12 weeks ago and hasnโ€™t stopped running with me since ๐Ÿ’•. @nicolem_413 joined us a few weeks ago ๐Ÿ’• and made us famous at the park by saying hi to everyone ๐Ÿคฃ. Today @loseyourselfitness joined the crew for the big 5K test. I missed my goal by 2 minutes today โ˜น๏ธ. My quads decided they had done enough. When the run was over, so did my emotions. ๐Ÿ˜ญ Today wasnโ€™t my best time, but after brushing off the sadness, I realized just how far Iโ€™ve come. I ran a 5K in 27 minutes. THAT is progress. Next Saturday I take on my 5th HYROX race in Boston, and Iโ€™m hoping all this running pays off! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Iโ€™m determined to get faster, even with these little legs of mine! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Beyond grateful for my run team. โค๏ธ To be continuedโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€ #hyrox #hyroxtraining #runclub by @zumba_odilis
Norโ€™easter rolling in and the squad still showed up. Rain or shine, weโ€™re putting in the reps, breaking a sweat and stacking up solid training days. HYROX Boston is two weeks away and this crew is ready. ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช #HYROX #HYROXBoston #LYFTStrengthClub by @zumba_odilis
Running Chroniclesโ€ฆ BEAST MODE! ๐Ÿฅต Did you miss us? ๐Ÿคฃ Today was a TOUGH one! The wind was disrespectful & the cold was unnecessary ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Heavy breathing, tired legs, and questioning life choices, but WE DID IT! Week 14 of weekly runs as I get ready to take on HYROX Mixed Doubles in Boston in 2 weeks! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ So grateful for the BEST running mate! โค๏ธ THANK YOU ALYSSA! #runclub #hyroxtraining #hyrox #runwithafriend by @zumba_odilis

YOU are ALWAYS welcome to join us ๐Ÿ’• Just know you will probably continue to smoke us ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜‚ We also had a surprise guest, Chrissy! Now that you have the HYROX bug, you might as well join us again for another run soon ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Alyssa, see you next week for more running adventures, questionable decisions and post run laughs! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’• #hyrox #hyroxrunning #hyroxtraining #hyroxworld #runwithafriend by @zumba_odilis

Nicole is venturing out into the world, but has promised to make guest appearances whenever her schedule allows ๐Ÿ™Œ Nicole, thank you for joining our mini run club, pushing us to run faster, and reminding us just how slow we really areโ€ฆ or maybe just reminding ME! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ You made us PARK FAMOUS! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Because of you, the locals will continue cheering us on during our weekly runs. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ‘ Triplets today, twins next week โ€ฆ the saga continues! ๐Ÿ˜‚ #hyroxtraining #runwithafriend #hyrox #runclub by @zumba_odilis
