When a logo tells a story, it doesn’t begin on paper — it begins at the table. 🎶 The note in our logo was inspired by a simple observation: our glasses sound different. A clear, fine and lasting tone when crystal meets crystal. Imagine a film without music. The story would still exist, but something emotional would be missing. In the same way, the sound of a glass is the music of the table — the quiet detail that turns a toast into a shared moment. That is what the note stands for: emotion, atmosphere and the joy of being together. The small “z” grounds this emotion in Zwiesel — in precision, craftsmanship and technical expertise shaped through generations of glassmaking tradition. One side emotional. One side precise. Just like our glasses themselves. So whenever this small symbol appears on the stem or foot of a glass, it marks more than a brand. It is a quiet promise: to feel balanced in the hand, to elevate the wine, and to sound beautiful in the moments we share. by @zwieselglas
One of our most elaborate, handcrafted pieces - the Symbiosis decanter. Covered in the finest craquelure through the interplay of glass, fire and water. by @zwieselglas
When glass meets wood, craftsmanship takes on an entirely new character. A meeting of materials, cultures and creative perspectives. Together with @zwiesel_japan and @mokuglass, we celebrate a distinctive expression of contemporary Japanese craftsmanship. Created in Matsumoto, Japan, MOKU brings together the transparency of glass and the warmth of wood – two contrasting materials shaped into one harmonious object. What began with former chef Arata Morita’s search for tableware that combines beauty with everyday use evolved through six years of experimentation. Today, alongside Sara Suzuki and Daichi Moteki, his vision continues to explore the dialogue between material, form and the quiet beauty of the present moment. A shared appreciation for craftsmanship. A new perspective on glass culture. by @zwieselglas
What happens when creativity takes over and conventions are left behind? The historic Alte Weberei in Stammbach became a place where fine dining was anything but ordinary. At ANIMA unchained × ZWIESEL FORTESSA, familiar ideas of food, flavour and the dining experience were challenged in the most unexpected ways. From reimagined regional ingredients to surprising food and drink pairings, every course told its own story. Our glassware, dinnerware and cutlery became part of the experience, complementing the creativity on the plate and the atmosphere around the table. But what stays with us most are the moments in between. The conversations, the connections and the shared excitement of experiencing something truly different. After four editions and two years of pushing boundaries, ANIMA unchained has reached its final chapter. And we're grateful to have been part of the journey. A special thank you to @alexander_herrmann_offiziell, @tobias_baetz_offiziell, and the entire @aura_anima_by_ahtb team for your vision, creativity and the wonderful collaboration. Here's to everything that comes next. 🤍 photo credits @oak_flow | @rebecca.pfiffer | @pieterdhoop by @zwieselglas
Good design starts long before the first sip. For KOLIBRI, we joined forces with @timraueofficial to bring a culinary perspective to the art of glassmaking. Mouth-blown, carefully considered and shaped by a shared passion for wine, craftsmanship and design. by @zwieselglas
Who says glasses are just for drinks? Chocolate, cream, crunchy layers and fresh kiwi — all in one little dessert. 🥝 A simple combination of textures and flavors that makes every spoonful a little different. Swipe for the recipe. by @zwieselglas

Shape changes perception — Part 4. Designed for a new generation of alcohol-free drinks, Début brings a fresh perspective to modern drinking culture. Created together with designer @carstengollnickdesign , the collection explores how glassware can enhance the aromas, character and experience of every drink. In Part 4 of our series, Carsten shares how the shape of a glass influences what we taste and smell — and reveals his personal favorite from the collection. From delicate aromas to more intense flavors, sparkling textures and refreshing temperatures, each glass in the Début collection was designed with different drinking experiences in mind. His personal favorite? The mocktail glass, appreciated for its compact, sculptural form and versatility. by @zwieselglas

Sondern Charakter. #NoLow #Umami #Alkoholfrei #DrinkCulture #ZwieselGlas by @zwieselglas
