I've come to the realization that my art is bland and uninteresting and it's reached a point where I no longer find the fun in drawing.

I used to think that the meaning behind my art was that I would draw what I love, and in a way I like that, but it makes me feel limited. It feels like I have to draw people I love and admire to perfection or it just wasn't a good drawing.

But recently I've been thinking of just getting it over with, to just draw something not out of the need to create something good but to actually enjoy myself in the process of it. So here's this half assed drawing that initially HAD a reference, but because I got so tired of the same tedious process that I always went through just to get one drawing done, I instead turned it into something of my own. I wouldn't even consider it objectively good and I would've probably never posted it months back...but it's a start, because maybe if I let go of the idea that my art has to be perfect and meaningful and different, I might actually get closer to creating something that is just that by @zyw3b
