N.E.T cancer or Neuroendocrine tumors affect about 6 in 100,000 people world wide. The tumors develop in neuroendocrine cells, which are found in tissues throughout the body including the lungs, pancreas, and intestines. My mom was diagnosed in February of 2023 and was originally told she would only have about 6 months left to live, but as stubborn and strong as she was, she more than tripled her life expectancy. As of Thursday, September 12th at around 10pm she peacefully passed in the comfort of our home. I am so grateful, and lucky, and beyond proud to have called such a beautiful, brave, STRONG woman my mother. John 16:20
