“spider bitch” is on mainstream now!

I want to start off by saying thank you to my kiki house the juicy couture s (@im_royale_ , @st.4rb0i , @dacupidbaby , @ronniejteo , @anya.anomaly ) because without yall’s support i wouldn’t have won this. as much as i wanted to win it for myself i had all of you in mind, i had my closest friends back in edmonton in mind, i had my blood family in mind. i love u all and ty for believing in me more than i believed in myself.

it was such an honour to battle @bee.attheball and legend @djblackcatt . you both have inspired me so much and completely in awe in what u both presented on that floor.

ty to my mentor @elisemodiste for teaching me and giving me the reference for my effect. ty to @charcarbone and my kiki mother @desirediseiye for giving me critiques and advice when i was making this effect.

ty to @poshgvasaliabasquiat for such a fab mainstream ball.

and lastly I would like to thank myself for making this effect come to life. from the tips of those leather strips to the hem of my train.. i really did that all by myself and i couldn’t be more proud of myself.
coming out of this experience with more knowledge, confidence, inspiration and motivation to keep outdoing myself.

SHIRRED DENIM JACKET
the finale look of my collection, i designed this jacket to have the same fabric manipulation as the shirred denim dress, a denim hood and an oversized boxy fit.
this piece was my favourite to design because it had movement, chicness, an avant-garde feel and weird silhouette after the drawstrings are pulled to manipulate the jacket. by @zzyryll

SHIRRED DENIM DRESS
a denim dress with the fabric manipulation of shirring to add texture that is achieved through a string made out of the same denim; making the dress either have extreme gathers or less and to shorten or lengthen the dress. by @zzyryll

GLOVED MOCK NECK
fabric used is a heavy stretch knit with a double zipped shoulder seam for easy wear and a change in style. by @zzyryll
