Music Matters #188 w/ @zzzackprince is available now on our Youtube 🥀

The @zzzackprince boys have been around the Bay Area music scene for what seems like a lifetime. They’re what many would call ‘students of the game’. We met these guys as friends long before we had any idea that they were making music, so it is an understatement to say that we were shocked when we heard “miss u” for the first time. The band’s last track and forthcoming project have the roots of so much of the influential pop rap to come out of the last half decade, but they add a distinct heartfulness to every song they create. The band is coming out of a multi-year hiatus, and not for lack of trying. As they tell us in our new interview, nothing was a bigger concern for Zack Prince than intention. They’ve spent the last few years chasing creative growth, and not viral success. Intention over urgency, every single time.
