YO ME AND MY BOYS SHARE A BAND CALLED @soastasphrenas AND WE ARE GOING TO ITALY TOMORROW TO PLAY SOME SHOWS WITH RAEIN, KONOHA, REVERIE, AND A BUNCH OF OTHER COOL BANDS HOW FUCKING AWESOME IS THAT

yeahhh i kinda understand why people do these 'photo dump' posts now. i always thought they were stupid, and only ever think its necessary to post if there's some kind of cool life update or something.

well here's my life update, albeit a bit late: i did a tour with my band @soastasphrenas in september and it was really fun, and we didn't lose money! we played @allefogliefest and it was the best gig we have played so far. i just wanted to post these great photos by @sottoitigli and @oni_bakuu and a couple stories i stole from the soastasphrenas archive

adding to those photos and videos are some of my own, and one taken by @ciozdi_pio and two by @meemawdukes

i turned off the sound of the videos so i could also showcase my newest obsession, which is the new @machin3gir1 album, which i think very well could be my album of the year

i feel like at all times these days my emotions seem to be very complex - feeling both stressed but also happy, exhausted but also motivated, tired but also energized, doing a lot but also feeling like i'm never doing enough. one day to the next feels like my mental capability varies so intensely, its hard to get into a routine

band stuff has been awesome, work has been fun, even family stuff has been great, i really shouldn't have anything to complain about. but for some reason i can't help but self-sabotage by not focusing on my needs or desires and just plowing over my own wishes

it feels like i'm crumbling from the inside out, which is weird because i feel like i know the steps i need to take to stop it, i just don't have the will to do it

but its nice having these memories to look at and gaslight myself into feeling like life is great, so i can keep pushing through the devilish thoughts and maybe eventually get passed my own negative outlook on life and start to feel like life is worth it. each day is a struggle to feel purposeful, and i envy the people who can just go through their lives not worrying about these existential thoughts and be happy regardless. one day this will all make sense by @021nate

here's a super low quality update because i forgot to post about this earlier

but i play a concert TODAY, 28.06, in HANNOVER at STUMPF with my band @soastasphrenas and we share a stage with the incredible @kyhlband

then my next show is with @loritheband at @mypeoplefestival in berlin on 13.07 at @neuezukunftstralau and i can't wait to be a part of that

i've had a pretty rough past couple of months dealing with allergies and having it spiral my physical and mental health into oblivion, but with some nice people around me, i've been able to get through it generally better than i would without them. thankful for a lot of people, in these photos or not. i don't normally take photos or videos so these are just whatever is randomly on my phone, and i don't want to give this post more effort than that

got some cool shows coming up this month

i'll be playing with my band @soastasphrenas in prague for the first time on 05.04 at @cafenapulcesty and in regensburg for @burn.the.scene fest on 06.04 with some really cool bands

then i will join @loritheband on stage as vocalist for their first show in europe at @obergeschosshell in berlin on 09.04, come thru

still settling in from the tour we @soastasphrenas did with @tendres_ it was a lot of fun, but i'm still currently dealing with shit from the van rental company, but still very thankful for the experience, and how nicely we were treated at every venue, and for all the bonding time we had with the nice folx in tendres, plus @royce.eagle

OH BOY, HERE I GO TOURING AGAIN

leaving for tour TOMORROW, 07.03, with my band @soastasphrenas and our tourmates @tendres_ for the longest tour i've done so far. 7 days, 6 in germany and 1 in austria, nothing too crazy, but very thankful that we even got to piece that together. thankful for everything really, and everyone who has been a part of helping put this together.

we then come back and play a show in berlin 15.03 at k19 with @son_of_deni and superactionboy, and i'm also very grateful for that show being able to work out in such a short amount of time.

we just came back from our weekender with @second__guessing where we played a sold out berlin show with @olderfriendsband opening as well, and a once in a lifetime show in the building that will become the new temporary @dbs_utrecht which was such an honor. the place was massive and under construction so the reverb made everything sound so massive.

things have been pretty cool recently, i'm feeling very blessed for everything happening, and it all feels weirdly sustainable. i'm just waiting for something bad to happen to ruin everything, but until then, we vibin'

one year anniversary of the first release from my band @soastasphrenas so i made a video to celebrate it. its a lyric video that i edited to go along with the movie 'enter the void'. the theme of the lyrics and the movie are very similar, both about rebirth. inspired by s i m p s o n s w a v e. i call it ~ v o i d w a v e ~ full thing is on youtube. the link to the full video on youtube will be in my 'story highlights' on my page, but i will also post one song at a time here on ig. let me know what you think
