Did the thing đŸ«¶ by @100milekyle
My run coaching is different. - Far too often a “run coach” is a successful runner who takes what worked for them, slaps a way-too-high price tag on the plan and throws it at people. There’s seldom any intelligently designed accessory work (strength training, mobility, prehab work etc) and even less often the ability to adapt and optimize each week for the athlete. - My run coaching is not a one size fits all plan. When an athlete comes to me, we take a deep dive into their goals, background, schedule, strong points, weaknesses and more and build a wholistic plan of attack based on that information. I build strategic strength programs to compliment the running protocols designed for the athlete and adjust sessions weekly to work around variables like changing work schedules, travel, bad weather, how the athlete is feeling etc. Every week is optimized for performance and built using the principles I’ve created that have worked for my athletes during my 18 years of working as a performance coach. - Whether you’re looking to run a PR, finish your first ultra, return to running from an injury or just get started on your journey, I’ve got you. DM me for more info. - #runcoach #ultrarunning #running #endurancetraining #runningcoach #sportsperformance by @100milekyle
2 years ago I married the greatest human that has ever walked the face of the earth, @wizzzardofoz Our love has been easy for me from the start. It is rooted in absolute, unconditional care for each other, selflessness, empathy, respect and trust. Since the day we met, not a day has passed where we did not live fully and completely for the other, and in doing so, we have become a single entity. We met thousands of miles apart and made the distance feel easy. We have not spoken a word in anger to each other. We have not fought or argued, we have not ever been “against” each other. We have navigated every single second of life together, together. It is so beautiful, and what love should be. Our love does not have roles or jobs. When I can give less, you give more. When I can give more, you let me fill in the spaces you need. You have loved all versions of me, past, present and future and have accepted me fully for who I am. I have never had to exist as anything other than my whole self for you and I love you endlessly for it. I realized while writing this, that I have never filtered our life or love, to myself or to the outside, because anything other than the pure reality of what we are, would do us an injustice. You are, and we are, the thing I am most inspired by, proud of and thankful for, in my entire time on this earth. Every piece of what you are and what we are, is more than I could have ever dreamed of. I often say, I’ll never be able to tell you how much I love you, because they have not created enough words to properly express it, and that holds true to this day. I will, however, spend this lifetime and whatever comes next, spending every breath I take, trying to show you. Thank you for loving me for all my parts, the best ones and the broken ones, and for breathing life into me in a way I never knew possible. You are everything good in this world and nothing more. I love you, endlessly. by @100milekyle
It is reasonable to assume most of us will have a smart phone for 60 years of our lives. If you spend 4 hours a day on it, for those 60 years, you will accumulate 10 years of time spent, staring into a glowing cube. A decade of your life, given away. Take back your time. Get out. Empty the tank. It’s not too late. Leave no reserves. Onward, always. - @pathprojects @runspeedland #ultrarunner #banff #canadianrockies #ultramarathon #run by @100milekyle
Forever here, with you đŸ«¶- - @wizzzardofoz @pathprojects #canadianrockies #banff #hiking #ultrarunner #lakeohara by @100milekyle
One day you’ll wake up old. Your dogs fur will be gray. Your parents will be gone. Your body will be stiff and sore. You’ll look in the mirror and wonder how your body got so far ahead of your brain, how this all happened so quickly when life has seemed so slow moving. And in that moment, you better be fucking proud of the life you’ve lived, fulfilled with how you spent your time and connected to the way you navigated this world. You better have fucking lived, because you’ll never be able to go back and do it again. Fuck your 9-5. Fuck doomscrolling your life away. Fuck burying yourself in a bottle. Go be a god damn human and empty the tank. Give everything, to every day. Leave no reserves. Onward, always. - @pathprojects @runspeedland #ultrarunner #banff #canadianrockies #hiking #alpine by @100milekyle
I have no intention of living a small life so that I can die a rich old man in a big house one day. My fortune, my wealth, is this life. Right now. In this moment. My wife. My family. The spaces I have the opportunity to explore. The exertion I am able to experience. Empty the tank. Leave no reserves. - @pathprojects @runspeedland #canadianrockies #runcoach #ultrarunner #banff by @100milekyle
Stop wasting your days trying to prolong them. Use the time you are given. Empty the tank. Every day. - @pathprojects @runspeedland #runcoach #ultrarunner #canadianrockies #canmore #run by @100milekyle
Life above sea level - @pathprojects @runspeedland #ultrarunner #runcoach #canadianrockies #peakbagging #ultramarathon by @100milekyle
You’re so small. In 200 years, nobody is going to even know you existed. Nobody will remember what job title you held, what car you drove, how much money you made or how many followers you had on social media. They won’t care about your mistakes or your successes, they won’t remember the art you created or how your voice sounds. All the things you are stressed and anxious about right now won’t even register with the universe. Almost none of this matters. Except how you live. So go fucking live. Go test the limits, look over the edge and jump in. Quit slaving away and donating your life for a world that will wash right over you when you’re gone. Drain every ounce of life from the time you are given. It is the only way. Onward, always. - @pathprojects @runspeedland #runcoach #ultrarunner #banff #canadianrockies #climber by @100milekyle
Life’s short. Do the epic shit. - @pathprojects @runspeedland #ultrarunner #runcoach #ultramarathon #canadianrockies #runner by @100milekyle
If I could give you one gift in this lifetime, it would be for you to spend a moment in my brain, so you could fully understand how much I love you. Endlessly, forver
and forever after that. đŸ«¶ - @wizzzardofoz by @100milekyle
