The much anticipated archive from our 24-hour-long closing party of the century is finally online for viewing and reliving pleasure.
Couldn’t have asked for a more fantastic, albeit emotional send-off to the space.

Thanks to all the DJs, dancers, and chillers wish we were able to squeeze so many more of y’all in there but there’s only so many hours in a day. You might’ve thought it was about clothes and coffee but 109 was truly always about community, and oh how beautifully the community came through.

We opened almost 4 years ago as a partnership between Young Coffee and Lqqk Studio. We called in favors and resources from our community with hopes of creating a neighborhood club house (with coffee and clothing).. We are officially closing at the end of the month but wanted to make one last item to commemorate our time on the block. The picture on the shirt was taken by Jiro when Kunle was nice enough to come paint the roll-gate in the early days of us being open. We are sad to close the doors , but we want to thank all the regulars who supported us, all the dogs who got treats, and to the friends we made along the way. by @109montrose

Promotion can be annoying and words are powerful things so I’ll keep this succinct. It’s easy to get sappy and our lease is up at the end of the month but the legacy will endure…..
